I get Psoriasis inside my ears and behind them. I use Dovobet Gel on them because drops and other creams have proved to be ineffective. I was told I really shouldn't use this as it thins out your skin, but nothing else is of any help. I have suffered with this condition since I was around 16 years of age, I am now 59. It is very sore and weeps and bleeds at times. Is there anything different that I could try that may be more effective?

I have had this dark rash spot for over a year on the inside on upper lobe and it doesn’t itch at all. I have gone to the dermatologist and they said it wasn’t cancer and didn’t prescribe me any medicine. I’ve been just putting antibiotics to help it not spread. I might go to another dermatologist bc the last one didn’t seem to be that helpful bc of the lack of information given to me on how to treat and care and why I’m here trying to learn more about it.

This does not make any sense as you are just treating the skin and the itch as you stated in your video does not come from the skin but rather the nerves. So, you really need to know how to stop the initial itch sensation.

Mine started one day when out of nowhere in class I felt something going down my nose ever since that day I got allergies I was left with dryness that even till this day I can’t get rid of it no matter if I use moisturizer every day and a lot in that area my dryness is around my nose in corners of my mustache an goatee mine isn’t really red is white fully white it’s annoying I’ve been struggling with this for 6 months now I believe

I just started getting this rash around my nose that is very painful. I’m wondering if this is what is causing this? It looks bumpy, red, flaky, and really painful. It’s also on either side of my mouth. I’m stumped.

My skin is basically oily in nature. So is it necessary to put moisturizer before sunscreen. Because after applying both moisturizer and sunscreen it feels more greasy.

thanks for this. The inside portion of my ear for both sides has always been very itchy and dry. These things worked but I also went to an ear specialist about it and recommended some ointments that helped tremendously.

I have a problem tho, i might have consumed too much foods with beta-carotene and i think i might have Carotenemia. It's the discoloration of the hands and the soles of the feet. I'm glad that it isn't jaundice tho, but the yellowish discoloration is too obvious to me as i have a light skin complexion

As someone who has suffered from SD for 30 years. Believe me I tried every prescription cream and lotion available, but nothing really worked for me. By chance I started using a shampoo called t/gel by neutrogena it's a therapeutic shampoo that's coal tar based. I used this not only for my scalp but also as a face wash. I started using this 15 years ago and honestly I've never looked back from that time. It took around 4 to 5 weeks to work but my skin now is back to normal, I also found that using a face flannel to remove the build up of oily skin around nose areas is highly recommended. You only need to do that once week. Hope this product does can do for you as it has for me...

I was recently diagnosed with a candida overgrowth and a leaky gut which explains why I have been struggling with SD and other skin issues like eczema for literally years, over a decade now. I have gotten SD under control before by washing my face with ONLY salt water (epsom salt) and no moisturizing at all. Most moisturizers tend to made SD worse especially if they have any plant oils in them those tend to feed the yeast and contribute to fungal growth and you'll notice your SD get worse. I'm going through a bad bout right now where every time I reintroduce a moisturizer to my routine after weeks of washing with only salt it comes back. But I'm also dealing with gut imbalance and on a strict, special diet for that. Hoping to clear up some of the issue with recommendations here while I wait for my gut to heal. If you've been struggling for years I highly recommend investigating a candida overgrowth in your gut.
