Thats actually the purpose of your pigs! Their role in farming is to be your all-natural, non-electric ground clearers/tillers. Then you can let chickens root through the spot after the pigs have cleared it. Now you have a nice, fertilized garden plot for next season. Keep rotating every 3 years

Just found your site and enjoyed your farm vlog... If U still have that Pig that limps give it Green Lip Mussel Tablets they come in capels from New Zealand buy at health food stores will help her with leg... The old goat pen would of put spinach or beetroot as they can grow in shade...or coleade greens...heaps of goat poo... Quail are lovely birds they call out at night just before bed time...good cleaners for seed and scrapes...I had the Japanese ones U can also eat eggs every good for you... U should try to house all your chickens closer as it must take U heaps of time feed them...😅😅😅

We only have 2 heated levels. Maybe $10-$20 a month in the cold months.

I found a guinea nest and not sure how long she’s been sitting. For weeks I’m sure. Is it safe to remove eggs from her and put in the incubator? I’m afraid a predator will break up the nest. Please advise
