We swam with SHARKS! Carnival Glory Cruise March 2023 | Mahogany Bay, Belize, and Cozumel

We were blessed by my Dad with this unforgettable family vacation. Once we made it on the ship we had a perfect vacation, there was not a single thing we would change. Shout out to Cruise Director Cookie & Jenneth in the dining room for making our vacation worry free and extra special!
We highly recommend visiting Mahogany Bay at Isla Roatan in Honduras. There we visited the Daniel Johnson’s sloth and Monkey Hangout where Donald made sure we all had time interacting with the animals and shared his expert knowledge on the island and animals, before spending the rest of our time in port at Little French Key (the highlight of the entire trip) where Albert took amazing care of our group of 10. Food and Drinks were included in this excursion and they did not disappoint.
This excursion was booked through Roatan 5 Star prior to leaving on the trip. Communication was excellent prior and we received perfect care and service from Susan Morel all day.

Belize is a place like none I've ever seen. They speak Creole and there it is a mix of African and English, rather than the French/English combo in Louisiana. Root, Alfredo and the whole snorkel team made sure we had ample time at every stop, stayed hydrated and shared their extensive knowledge of the culture and heart of the Belizian people. 10/10 would spend the day with them all again on the Shark and Ray Snorkel.
Chakanab Adventure Park in Cozumel Mexico is a must visit. There's something for everyone. The Dolphin and Manatee swim with the kids was excellent and just enough time in the water interacting to not be tiring. The adults of our group loved the Underwater Bubble Show Dolphin Swim. The Snorkeling is phenomenal and we will be back again I'm sure!

WOW! Talk about a trip of a lifetime!! Your father sure knew how to celebrate his retirement with his family! As a single mother I was able to take my kids to Disney world once and it was a trip I’ll never forget it was without a doubt a trip of a lifetime. Shortly after that I met the man of my dreams and we’ve been together for 15 years now and this past October we finally decided it was time to get married especially since we became grandparents earlier in the year! Lol! We didn’t have any money for a honeymoon and one day I hope we can eventually afford a cruise vacation. But I doubt it, because we live in an apartment and I’m disabled but my husband works hard and we make ends meet but nothing extra. We always say if it’s meant to be then it will be, we follow God’s plan and I can always tell when I’m in tune with what I’m supposed to be doing. I think your family is incredibly blessed and I hope that you will be able to share many more experiences like this with your sweet daughter she is a very intelligent and caring little girl and I truly enjoyed watching all your adventures thank you so much for sharing them!! I literally seconds from saving a cruise to Bahamas. I think I'm gonna change to yours. I've always been afraid of booking excursions outside of Carnival. Now I'm excited!

We felt very safe with Roatan Five Stars. We had two excursions book through carnival the other days, and the Roatan Five Stars excursion was definitely the best out of the three. We suggest taking the shuttle to the gate of the port in Roatan, because it’s a bit of a hike in the heat.

Those were 2 different locations in Roatan, Honduras. We used Roatan 5 Stars tour company. The sloth and monkeys was Daniel Johnson Sloth and Monkey Hangout and the island with the pigs was Little French Key.
