I'm enjoying seeing her kneading that dough with her hands. I used to watch my mom make breakfast biscuits early in the morning when I was around 3 years old in the 1960s. In fact, she taught me how to count to 24 because her baking sheets held 24 balls of dough for 24 biscuits. There was always a little bit over, so she put in another pan, bringing the total of biscuits to 27 or 28. I couldn't quite count that far up . I love and miss you, mom IMM . In Afrika they do a similar dish ,called Asida. But they do not cooked in fat .when it's ready cooked they put a hole in the middle ,fill it with ghee and a Chilipaste . The pieces of dough will be dipped into the ghee ansd the Chilipaste. It tastes so good.

I’ve lived in Alaska for 38 years and -40° Fahrenheit is very common here.
