Thanks ! There may be a slight compresssion from a TC C300 on the ourput, everything else is coming from the Matrix Brute.

Is it the PC3 or PC3LE that we hear ? just curious if they sound a bit different, like cheaper DACs on the LE

That's the PC3. Not sure the PC3Le has cheaper DACs. Both are 24 bits btw.

Awesome soundset... just scored a used JX-03 and I love this little synth. It punches waaay above its weight. And it's so much fun to program sounds on it. The ACB engine is gorgeous.

I like the version on the K2700 better than the version on the OB-X8, but I'm assuming Rush (Geddy most likely) used an SEM-based synth. I recently traded my FVS for a dual-manual Prophet 10, but the cool thing about the glide on the FVS was that each voice had a slightly different glide rate.

@@yashnu Not really, but you can simulate analog drift. On this particular sound, i simulate 8 voices in unison mode, but each voice as a programmed 'drift' on filter, resonance, envelope time, pitch, etc...

@@barbenzinc I do some of that drift too but in normal Poly Mode, and rely on Layer Switching. Not perfect but works well.What would be great is if Kurzweil made an internal Voice Allocator at a higher level, that encompasses different Layers so that we can do Round-Robin allocation.
