Are you deliberately trying to make this thing sound like a Kurzweil synth or do those sounds just naturally come out of this thing like that? :) I can't believe this is an FM synth. It sounds like virtual analogue. Impressive sounds. Would you recommend buying the Opsix?

I don't agree with Korg when they say it's an altered FM synth...It's more like that ! Ok, it can do FM, but so much more. And you can program it like a VA synth if you want to stay in this domain. You can keep away from FM....It's a powerful synth and i highly recommend it if you like to program. And yes, in a way it makes me think of Kurzweil because it has a kind of variable architecture too...but easier to program than a Kurz' ! ;-)

@@barbenzinc Gotcha. Haha yeah I imagine it would be easier to program the Opsix. I'm just kind of blown away by how good it is at virtual analogue type sounds. Most FM synths you can usually tell it's FM trying to do virtual analogue but with this thing it's a bit tougher to tell that it is essentially a FM synth pretending to be a VA. Love your patches though. Really great job. The sound of this soundset made me think of some of the Kurzweil sets you've done. They sound fairly similar in some respects. Anyway keep up the great work mate. Cheers.
