Im new to your channel. Ty for sharing. I love the circle skirt remake part of the jumper. You have inspired me to do a circle skirt. Plus I agree with you that the black blouse & boots or dark MJ shoes work best. Like u said, the lighter colors are too stark.

You obviously popped in my “something of interest” crawl based on my search of how to repurpose a chenille bedspread this last week…thanks Ai..lol That said I just wanted to say that little jacket turned out amazing! Beyond my sewing skill set and I will likely be making pillows or stuffies. 😊That is a really nice way to keep the coziness of a beloved chenille blanket. There is definitely something special about chenille bedspreads ❤Lovely work!

I loved watching you get this outfit together and yes You can do it! I'm proud of you and anyone else that breaks out of the prison of being a person pleaser. It's an insidious and terrible kind of mental manipulation that hides it's roots in our belief of self-worth and isn't easy to figure out without being very brave and willing to rock the boat and choose your needs even if others get upset or worse. This is your life to live and it does matter what you want and what you think or feel.

Love them, I’ve just made myself some using a pair of dungarees (bibs) I have for the pattern, I up cycled a hand printed Indian cotton throw I found in a charity shop (thrift store)

Pouffes were around when I was a kid (the 70's) in Australia. We used to call them "poofs" - no disrespect intended, it was just what we called them.

I have remnants of my Grandma’s Christmas tablecloths that I made aprons for my sisters. I can use the remnants and her doilies to make these awesome angels. I love the color of your polish.

Thanks Bonnie! Yes, I saw they make synthetic, but they didn't have it in the denim blue color I wanted, so I improvised. Thankfully it worked great!
