October 2024: I have the C50 and my brother has the ATN X-Sight 4K Pro 3-14x50... The ATN has a better IR illuminator. C50 has better picture clarity short or long distance - BUT for distance, you need to use a different IR Illuminator than the Pulsar IR Illuminator (which isn't really that great at distances outside 200 yards), to get the highest quality picture. For ranges within about 200 yards, the pulsar IR illuminator is good enough. I use the ATN IR850 Pro Long Range IR Illuminator with great effect with my C50 now. I have tried many other IR illuminators and ATN is just the best... The other one that was amazing was the Evolva Future Technology T20 IR 38mm; but it looks like they don't exist anymore; however I see that the Armasight Watchman IR Illuminator looks a lot like the Evolva; almost identical. I have not tried the Armasight one, as I am good with the ATN now. So, in short, the C50 has better picture quality than the ATN within a couple hundred yards using the pulsar IR illuminator; but is better than ATN using the ATN illuminator at longer distances. The picture quality difference is not that significant however, so if you want to save some serious cash and use the money saved for other stuff, you can't go wrong with the ATN. ATN feels more bulky, but it's lighter than the C50, which feels less bulky. The problem with the C50 is the illuminator, which puts out 850mm wave length IR light at 800 mW; the ATN IR850 Pro puts out 1540 mW at 70% setting and 2200 mW at 100% setting. The C50 has a full HD sensor at 1928x1080; where the ATN has a 4K sensor at 4056x3040 (but that's daylight operation, unsure of the sensor resolution in night mode). It is fantastic regardless. The display that you look at in the C50 is 1024x768, and it is AMOLED which has a higher contrast ratio and better display image with less power consumption. The ATN has a 1280 x 960 display and still looks great. ATN can use a 4 to 64GB SD card, the C50 is limited to the internal measly 16GB. The C50 is IPX7 waterproof rated, and the ATN is rated as weather resistant. If I could go back in time, I would get the ATN X-Sight 4K Pro and save a lot of money. Having said that, with Pulsar I am very pleased with them and they have stellar customer support with a local Pulsar rep where I live. Still, for the price, it's hard to beat ATN X-Sight 4K Pro scopes.

Good to see you. Out of interest, what cartridge and choke do youuse in that decoyed situation. Many thanks. I have 1/ or half choke and am trying some Federal no.2 and winchester no.3's. Ive used Gamebore mammoths. Its hard to tell if thers ant difference as I'm still a novice and getting ecverything else right is still probably an issue. Cheers
