THEY JUST KEPT COMING EPIC GOOSE SHOOTING

Welcome Back to the channel , I know it’s been a while I’ve not had the time .
In this video I ask Robin Along for the opening morning on the geese . Chris kindly said he’d come along and film the morning for us also. I had been watching the field for over a week with well over a thousand greylag .
It was the usual format all 3 of us dug in then covered the soil with straw that I’d collected the night before.
The setup was a mixture of greylag silo socks & shell decoys set out .all around us .
My gun I’m using is a Beretta A400 Extra , using fiocchi 35g 2s choke is a Carlson Half choke .
Robin’s gun is a Winchester SX 3 again using fiocchi cartridges.
The geese have been coming for 0600 /0615 every morning. On the opening morning they decided to have a lay in and started coming around 0700 .
It started off slow but it soon started picking fast with us both having some nice shots .
We kept a eye on the number , we both decided that we had enough shooting , so decided to call it .

Another wonderful video , nothing like the buzz of geese coming in , you say you tube are making it more difficult , is it not possible to start up a new platform ,, shoot tube ,, i have no idea on such things but im sure there's a place for it , the chap that does, edge of out back, on you tube was saying about the issues with you tube and was on about another channel , keep up the brilliant entertainment its very much appreciated ,

Very professional video there Dewayne (& Chris)! A fantastic watch for people like me who don't get the opportunity to shoot geese. Dog made my day too ... they just love it don't they. I always enjoy your videos Dewayne & you don't want to let the crap comments & detractors get to you; There's always going to be people who don't understand the sports we enjoy. It is , after all only ignorance on their part. You plough on doing what you want to mate & try not let detractors get under your skin. That's what they want. Good luck with upcoming op!

Hi thanks thanks for your comment geese were from 30 to 60 yards . My choke is a Carlson choke half , my cartridges was fiochhi 35g 2s . Great cartridges for decoying .

Cracking video mate. Any chance you could share some recipes how you make burgers/sausage etc. I’ve got a good supply of birds and would like to put it to good use so it’s actually nice food instead of a tough old goose breast. Cheers

For burgers I do a 60/40 venison to pork fat . With a burger mix . Same with sausage but with a sausage mix, you can get all different seasonings..available on eBay / Amazon. Thanks 🙏 👍
