I've listened to this at least 50 times since I first heard it. I now play it at midnight every New Years Eve. I play it on my best loud clear speakers. I turn it way up and toast champagne with everyone. I always cry. Thank you for this.

You can't beat an old church to sing your songs in, but this is a great sound too.

Half Scot half Irish with a nice voice that’s carries well across songfests, karaoke sessions…. It’s always great ego builder to raise your voice and the crowd momentarily pauses… listens…. Like. Damn, he’s good! Never sang for money, but I recall one time i broke out with "Bring him home" in a crowded noisy pub and brought them to hushed silent moment… even if was only for those few minutes. 😊

이 노래는 일제강점기 시절 대한민국 임시정부 애국가의 음으로 쓰이기도 한 노래입니다. 들을 떄마다 뭔가 가슴이 뭉클해지네요

Rabindranath Tagore, India's national poet, composed a song by copying the lyrics and melody of this song. The lyrics and melody are exactly the same. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHTNeWljaZmniNEsi=Fwb_4MC_VQMNuLmf

Mark Water's diction is so good, that the opening lines he sings will help Irish learners all over the world pronounce each Irish word in them correctly! I applaud his complete lack of showboating and his failure to over-embroider a tune, as well. What an outstanding group achievement!
