I also think the newer one is the better option however the thing I dislike about it is that it doesn't have siderods, which is very dissapointing because not only does it look quite weird and empty without them but also because the old one does have them and look quite nice. It's a simple thing LEGO could've added to make an already nice looking train even better in my opinion.

I've used the rebrickable one with the L-motor, but the issue im having is the motor won't stay put and keeps pops up, then grinding the gears. I'm not sure why it keeps doing that, but it does.

I know nothing about trains, so why does the bigger car have fewer wheels than the smaller one? 😕 I haven't built it yet, but I have this and would also like to add at least 2 more of the longer car. But I feel like it should have a third set of wheels. I wanna take the middle set off the small car and stick em on the last one. 😅

Loving seeing you build up your train collection. Did you verify that they had the yellow 12 on the motors for these? I may have already asked you. I can’t remember. It was one of the hardest things for me getting actually 12v motors instead of 4v

I have the 60335 and 60337 set

The battery box doesn’t actually fit as the tender in the set is one plate too low. Here you raised it up one on the bottom, and I added to the top, but this doesn’t look as good as it’s supposed to.

Is there a guide on how to convert using the 9volt system?

I like the train but i like the Cargo trains more then the psanger train and I have 2 lego trains and love ur content!

about 30 people are interested in the auction, betting few penny over the base price is ricky, everyone will wait last second to bet. start price is 660 £, i'm considering betting 751 £ at the verylast minute, to make sure to be the only winner, cause it's retrogaming and the last item available on the whole internet, others are scalpers with $1500 listing price. disgusting for a cloned console. if i would have purchased it last year, it would have costed me only $250. so sad.
