I have got a book of all the works of Burns. BUT hesre's a message which I want to get as far as wide as possible,Here's a message to you, Orchard Enterprises' and your stupid policy of supressing comments. The comments inspired by people listening to the music are at least as important as the music itself. As for you KZbin why do you permit this kind of stupidity. If you are reading this comment and agree with me please add a comment with your agreement and your own opinion. I want to start a campaign against Orchard's ridiculous stuppidity

What a powerful rendition on par with that at the opening of the Parliament! EU has that beautiful poem by Schiller to Beethoven's music. A Man's should be the UN anthem!!!

Growing up with this song, I have heard this many a time, 😊 yet this is my favorite expression of it. How lushly he frames the Bard's words and landscapes of the melody. Transporting.

I don't get it. Supposedly the La's undoing was Mavers' insistence that they weren't being recorded properly. Yet there they are in a TV studio, total off-the-cuff performance, and it sounds awesome. Do an MTV Unplugged, make an album from it, and move on to another project!

this is the kind of way he wanted to be recorded but the machine was not gonna bend to a stoned scouser, although he got "over" released ....so the la's in their purest form exist in these videos and it's a great thing we can watch these moments that people at the time could never watch in the uk this being in canada

He was a primal force that La..john powers backing vocals..unequalled...wish Lee would get it together and record the crescent tapes etc...i think Rick Rubin would harness Lees inner demons❤
