I just opened my battery for when my replacement comes, but I noticed the ebike company that gave me mine has put rubber sealant around each side of the battery cells. Any idea of how to remove it?

Hello, use a knife to cut it carefully. We build our batteries also use the silicone GEL to seal the cells for safety reason.

my Bafang m620 motor has started playing up. it says "error 10" (over heat code) in the first kilometre of every ride and i touch the motor all over and its cold and its in a limp mode! would changing the controller fix this problem? i swapped a display from another bafang uart m620 i own and its not the display because the same code came up on the display. if you can answer my question i would really appreciate it thanks.

What's the voltage of the battery? Probably the battery's problem. You can try another battery to test your bike.

If your M420 motor is CANbus motor, then you need to calibrate the motor with Besst tool; if your motor is UART motor, then you don't need to calibrate it with besst tool.

Guy in this video doesn't replace the locking ring on the superior pinion,which should be replaced above the granny gear,before replacing the cover.Had my bbso2 16 months and after replacing 2 nylon granny gears,ended up upgrading to a metal granny gear,and a cut out when you change gears.Never looked back since.
