Difference for Bafang M620 UART and CANbus motor

The difference for Bafang M620 /G510 UART and CANbus motor.
1. The Eb-bus connectors are different: Male connector(motor) for EB-BUS cable for CANbus motor; female connector for E-BUS cable for UART motor.
2. The speed sensor connectors ar different: 4 pins connector for CANbus motor while 3 pins connector for UART M620 motor.
3. The display connection is with trangle connector for CANbus motor while it is round connector for UART M620 motor.

The calibration is done with a special screen. This screen can be used as a standard screen for M620 too.

Thank you. I’ve gone through 3 m620 motors in 13,000 kms. The controllers are weak and fail often. They do not have enough grease from the factory are become noisy within 800 kms. Since I’m on my 4th motor now I think I know what I’m talking about. My neighbour has been through 2 of these motors with less than 4,000 kms on his bike. Why hasn’t Bafang corrected this, it’s completely unacceptable that this should be the case and anyone considering buying a Ebike with this drive should be very cautious. When they actually work, they are powerful and quick, but when Ebike companies want 1,200$ for a new one I think buyer should beware.

Please grease the motor reguarly. Bafang now have upgraded rotor and gear for this motor and they makes the motor less noise.

@@Greenbikekitthanks, I always do, but come on, this is a 1200$ unit, why should customers be required to do this to a new unit? I’ll be in touch to purchase a new controller for the dead one I now own! Cheers and thank you for the reply!

That's interesting. I never experienced m620 with the original controller, but I have m620 with 3000W Innotrace X1 controller and it already has 6000 miles (9600km) with zero maintenance without issues (it is noisy thought, but it works just fine).
