I was told that this fish was ment for royalty only.If you were caught with this fish;it was death penalty.!!!!!!!.But it is one o the tastiest fish going.the oil makes it that way!!!!!!!!.

What you never ate eel?My old timer roommate taught me how to prepare eel.Cut it into 4 inch pieces;soak over night in vinegar.Fry it crispy!!!!!!!.Taste like succulent pig.I garens broke da mouth;so ono!!!!!!!!!.

They do! If you catch a small one that you’re going to release, gotta keep it in a tide pool until you’re done fishing for the night before releasing. They’re get spooked easy. Mahalo 🤙🏻

Run um brother! Zip tie helps the bait swim more naturally and stays alive a lot longer. Also better chance of a hookup because more of the hook is exposure when the fish strikes. Happy new year! 🎆
