One lady, had a huge kettle, and son built device to help tilt it so (whether cold or hot process) it would pour into slab molds, made at least 115 bars at one time

Why does no one ever say what they're actually using? For those of us who've never done this before, it would be nice to know.

Great tutorial, I have been doing CP for about a couple of years and tried my first batch of HP recently and I gotta say I love it. I think outside of trying certain designs I will be sticking to this. Thank you.

I am making a ton of soap right now for bartering when SHTF....people will still need soap, and I will be able to make it and trade it for stuff I need :)

Hi, I'm curious what your plan is long term. Will you be stocking up on a ton of caustic soda/lye? Or will you learn how to make it or alternative techniques to making soap. I'm going to be doing some research and I can share some information with you if I find something interesting.

Good job on this, itt's the first time I see this method. Nice texture to work with, like in between hot and cold process. I also have fibro pain in the hands and wrist. So i'm looking for a method that I can easily work with. I'm on melt and pour for now! Thanks agai n for sharing.

This was AWESOME! I think you are just awesome. I LOVE volcano hot process, it's my fav. I feel for your arm and the pain you must feel after that though especially with cfs and Fibro.😣I hope you had a well earmed rest after that. Thanks so much.

The liquid lye accidentally poured on my shirt and went through my skin, i felt a burning sensation and irritation, when i checked in the afternoon, there were scars and burn marks on my skin. Be careful when handling lye people.

I agree with everything Kimberly says except the one about hot process being the hardest one. Because in my experience, my hot process bars are somehow softer and disappear faster than my cold process bars in the shower. I use the same measurement for both hp and cp, that's why I then turned my focus on cp soap only because of that also beside the fact that cp soap satisfies me more because I can style it 😬 and I really do miss the days where these two women were active on youtube teaching us about soapmaking. Hope they're stay healthy and productive now ❤️

hahhahahah! I have been looking for a video like yours all morning!! Everyother video was a perfect result. Made my first batch this weekend and looks EXACTLY like yours. So did it ever harden up? If yes, I will layer to dry. If not I can just rebatch? How can I correct the soap batter in the rebatch process??? LOL You 2 are so much like my friends and I. Always trying always laughing!!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣
