This is a pretty good step by step...from someone who has made soap, sending to someone who wants to make soap. I was concerned about your lye "measurements" though.....sprinkled straight from the container.....did I miss something? Overall, thanks for this vid.

Hi, I'm curious what your plan is long term. Will you be stocking up on a ton of caustic soda/lye? Or will you learn how to make it or alternative techniques to making soap. I'm going to be doing some research and I can share some information with you if I find something interesting.

Thanks so much for this video! I have been making soap for about six years but I have been making "On the counter hot process" or what some call "high temperature HP" for about two months now and ABSOLUTELY love it!! I love how easy it is (even though it is an advanced technique) and LOVE the way the soap looks after it's done... more so than even cold process! :)♥ There has been no issues with doing swirls or anything else that you can do with CP. I don't even know if I will go back to CP to be honest! I am just surprised at how few videos and tutorials there actually are out there. I am thinking that it is because it is an advanced method because you are working at such very hot temps but your soap looks wonderful and thanks again for sharing!
