I had to put my carnivorous plants in dog kennels to keep the squirrels from digging them up. If I trap a few, they bring in more recruits. I am about to make a hoop greenhouse and cover it up with chicken wire, then paint the wire black to turn the glare of the wire visibly neutral. Wish I could put them out dead nuts in the sun without a worry, like you.

Wow! What a great property! You are a very lucky man! Where is it? I love the view of the rolling hills, so peaceful and beautiful! Are you going to restore the bog area and plant some carnivorous plants directly into the ground? That would be awesome! ❤️😍

Yes, thanks. we are in BC Canada. some day i'd like to plant a few things back in the bog. just wanting to try and get sphagnum moss growing again in some test pots

woah I've been watching your videos for a really long time now, and I knew you had greenhouses and stuff but I thought that it was just in a normal size backyard. I never knew that it looked like this! honestly stunning. I live in Los Angeles, and I have to work extra hard to take care of my carnivorous plants, because I have to constantly attend to them so they won't burn in the heat.

I have a 80 watt grow light. how far away should my vft be? or other carnivorous plants. cuz with sunlight my plants feel warm to the touch. some people say if plants are warm to the touch in grow lights its too much they said.
