my ancestor to America in 1632 was an indentured servant to Virginia but then ended up in MA and his son fought in King Philip's war after Windsor CT was burned down. The desire of elites to divide America on race rather than class persists today as she mentioned, the DNC woke agenda is one manifestation, where they divide black and brown people (whatever that means ) against white people (and some asians)

I'm blown away. I'm a retired historical researcher in Canada who has worked for Native groups on both sides of the Canada-US border. War of 1812 era material is often argued as evidence in my line of work. I don't think I've ever heard an American commentator give such a fair objective (and efficient) account of the War of 1812 before. Good on you. Especially liked that you included in your unsurrendered Indian Territory the old northwest and parts of Canada. Agree that neither Canada nor US won, but indigenous people lost out. Canadian writers usually stop at Detroit and don't go further west. The War of 1812 was fought all the way to the Pacific, albeit with fewer people scattered further between. Despite claims about the significance of the Battle of New Orleans as a US victory, Canadian and Native American volunteers (with some British leavening) had secured the entire Missouri and Mississippi River systems north of St. Louis by 1815. They were dumbfounded when they learned their hard won victories had been traded away by the British negotiators at Ghent in exchange for the return of southwest Ontario. Excellent work on your part.

There’s this thing called modernity and nations and history.. we are in the age of communications… Germany wasn’t a country until politics is the understanding that takes years. Also Ukraine wasn’t a country until USSR. This quite literally true from a materialist perspective. There was no “German” or “Italian” until modernity. I of course am an idealist who believes in gene theory. I believe in the biological ontology of nations. Something evident and obvious to the ancients

He died of a throat issue that would routinely be cleared up today with antibiotics. 300 slaves. At least 13 us presidents owned slaves. Earlier this year they found some jars of food that were for future use at mt vernon underground probably packaged by kitchen slaves. On the news they said we could maybe plant one of the fruit seeds to grow a tree, but it is really a long-shot at best. Fascinating i think. And his teeth were not really wood like everyone thinks they were They were made from animal teeth human teeth and probably slave teeth. He didn’t smile much. 😮

I learnt this only the other day funnily enough. I go to my mum. Tears in my eyes as i write this, She had balls the size of coconuts. I know it could have been better described, but i'm a little pissed as i write. Had my mother, a working class keeper of the line had a university education she could have been something other than a wife raising 4 little mobsters, Growing up i was constantly in awe of her ability. She was always writing to politicians about the state of play. Her handwriting was off the charts. Napoleon could have engaged her to write his Constitutional Charter of 1814. She committed suicide alone. I love you mum.

This is a great lesson summed up nicely. I grew up mostly in the South and I was indeed not taught most of this in k-12. I think the only thing I was taught was that the South was plantations because of fertile land which caused a divide on where slavery was and would be the start of the rift for the civil war. I am considered lucky that I had teachers acknowledge that the civil war was about slavery but they had to emphasize any state test you must put down state’s rights. And in college I took the US history class that was 1880-current which was way more complete but I still lack knowledge of this time period. I was taught that slave labor didn’t start as racial with indentured servants and the slow use of slaves from Africa. It slowly became race based over time. There was no mention of the upper class purposely creating racial divisions or the switch to chattel slavery was to stop the growing free population of former indentured servants. I’ve somewhat have been slowly learning this but thank you for putting it so concisely

There is no debate. The Articles of Confederation & the US Constitution are simply laws by the Continental Congress for a Presidential Constitutional Federal Republic which sovereign States could obey or not. An elected legislature can make, amend or repeal any law, and therefore "Supreme Law" is a legal fiction. The the US was founded in 1776 ...as a Federal Republic .... under God of the Bible .... during a Revolution by the People created equal by God with inalienable rights bearing arms in an authorized Militia to remove a tyrannical central government violating inalienable rights. And the Founders on the 4th July 1776 only wanted a small Federal Government with limited authority over the States ... but .... responsible for Defending the US and the rights of the People form domestic & foreign enemies of the US. And God is not a racist, sexist Liberal white Man & hypocrite Christians from Virginia named George Washington, Thomas Jefferson or James Madison. All inalienable rights of the People of the US ... come from the Bible via the Declaration of Independence and an armed Revolution by the People (majority) to remove a tyrannical government, including equality, rule of law, due process, justice, ... and the vote ( majority rule) & guns (Revolution). In 1776 the US was founded as ... a Christian/ Conservative Democracy with rights established from the Bible, where the People, governments & laws must be good not evil and not violate or infringe these rights, and where the Federal Government is small and responsible for Defense & Oversight of member States. But all 13 Founding States were run by Humanist Liberals and were tyrannical so after manipulating the People to defeat the British, they immediately disbanded the Continental Army (1776 Federal government) and with the Articles of Confederation created a powerless & only token Federal Government as the States continued being tyrannical to non white & female People of the US. Due to the failures of the Articles & Fearing a coup by veterans not paid for defeating the British lead by George Washington ... the Framers drew up the US Constitution ... making the Federal Government with three branches(1791) not just the Executive ( 1776) and including the Bill of Rights to protect "themselves" from a tyrannical Federal Government especially George Washington becoming an Emperor. This is what the 2A is really about. So there is no debate about Constitutional rights. It's just the law from Congress for Federal government and can easily be amended & repealed by majority vote by Congress. The founding Documents of the US which provide all the rights of the People of the US ... are the Declaration of Independence & Bible, and the historical fact of the Revolution by the People. Democrats are the Federalists who wanted large Federal government with all the power, and are against majority rule and the right of Revolution by the majority. Republicans are the anti-Federalists, want only small Federal government for Defense & Oversight, only want majority rule and are all about God, Family, Country & guns. Even though every government since July 4th 1776 has been tyrannical & Liberal ... the US still became the greatest nation on Earth ..... due to the Declaration of Independence, Revolution (guns) and .... Bible ( inalienable rights).,

@@JHimminy Wrong. I have just "explained" why there is no debate about the US Constitution. It's just a Law .... from Congress ... for Federal Government & it replaced the failed Articles of Confederation also from Congress. All rights of Americans come from the Declaration of Independence & Bible .... during a revolution by the People God crated with rights bearing firearms in a well regulated Miltiia to remove a tyrannical government violating said rights. The US was founded as a Christian Democratic Federal Republic .... during a Revolution ..... by mostly racist, sexist Liberal white Men & hypocrite Christians caring only about their rights & property. And the Congress then & now ... can not amend or repeal the Declaration of Independence & Bible that the US was founded on. See. All Debates about about the US Constitution are moot because its simply a .... law ... from Congress composed on mostly racist, sexist wealthy white guys.
