Mewtwo EX still gives me nightmares. Gen 5 was the generation where I threw myself into Pokemon, and lot of the time was spent playing Pokemon TCG online. Oh my god if I played any more of that game I think that I would hate Pokemon because of how prevalent Mewtwo EX was and how I, as a 9 year old, just had nothing to do against it. EDIT: I should add. My deck was made around Kyurem EX if I recall.

Dusknoir has the tcg treatment like some others, gardevoir and many Pokémon just get all the love for no apparent reason even if its fan favorite, genesect can be other case like bro he was in plasma as virizion genesect and fusión strike mew and still has some niche cards like shining genesect.

Hey just wanted to mention that the video is awesome, but at 25:48 you say that you can activate unfair stamp off of dusknoir, but you cannot because it specifically says when your opponent knocks out a pokemon and not when your pokemon is knocked out. Great video despite that though!

SFA Dusknoir doesn't actually interact with Unfair Stamp since you need to get knocked out by the opponent. The card just happens to be perfect in Charizard, thus the Dusknoir-Stamp pairing. Other than that, great video! The DPP era sure had creative card design

unfair stamp actually doesn't interact with dusknoir at all as it stipulates a knock out during your opponent's last turn, not prize card count

Fun fact, the Dusknoir DP33 promo, from what I've seen, was quite good in Japan's 2008 battle rounds format (roughly Fire Red Leaf Green to DP Legends Awakened)

I also think it was worth mentioning the non-holo Dusknoir from Stormfront, which is also a decent attacker in its own right and a great way to force the opponent to deal with Dusknoir due to its annoying PokeBody

When I was 16 and played the TCG for the first time properly on the online game I made the gengar/trevenant deck with great success. So glad to hear younger me was onto something there. even threw in a mewtwo ex despite not knowing the meta. This is the first time I've heard someone mention this deck, thank you for the nostalgia! Your videos are incredibly high quality!

Funny thing is, Rayquaza Vmax found a niche as the cinch pin in Arceus Armarouge, as a nuke button and draw support, almost 2 years later
