Very cool!! Looks like they're harkening back to WWI more this time, that 2nd helmet (with the crest) looks very French or Belgian too, where as the Red Shadows always made me think WWII.

why does it have the butterfly joints ? the vest completely pushes back on any movement you could get out of them ?

Excellent figure can’t wait

I just received him in the mail today and am sorely disappointed. The extra heads are worthless. They do not go on and I even tried to slightly bore out one of the holes a little bit and just ended up pretty much ruining it. I might be able to use blue sticky tack to get it on for pics, but that is still lame as hell. I was lucky I could even get the regular head back on (with no small amount of effort). His poseability is very limited in my opinion and his arms like to just... fall off. His overall extreme pointy-ness makes it literally painful to try and swap shit out on him. Some of his accessories are sorta jank (I had a hell of a time getting the little shotgun shells into his belt loops) and I think I nearly broke one of the handles on his mini-gun just taking it out of his hand. And it's difficult to pose him with that gun. I looooove Operation Monster Force overall, but I would say this is already their first fail, and a pricey one at that. A toy this costly shouldn't have these issues. He LOOKS great but he is just not fun to play with. 🫤 I DID get a numbered card, tho. Lol

I absolutely love this figure. One of my favorites of the year. Hopefully we get a retro version that is version 1 of the og o ring figure.

I'll just add my comment about the Weapons Checklist to this post since it isn't being added to the original posts. If you notice some of the firearms say, "inspired." The reason for this is twofold. 1) The guns' designs are registered trademarks and Hasbro doesn't want to pay a licensing fee to the trademarks holders and 2) It's to avoid litigation. It also explains why the M16s have Kalashnikov stocks and why DIAL-TONE's rifle has a "selfie stick," on it. Hasbro Legal has determined that these, (and other,) comestic changes are enough to keep Hasbro from hit with a cease & desist, (or a lawsuit,) from the gun manufacturers claiming copyright infringement. When studying the _Classified_ weapons design while not being direct 1:12 scale copies of the real world weapons _Snake Pants_ and _Good Guy 9_ were able to determine which real world weapon was the inspiration for the version that we're seeing in the _Classified Series._ Also, some of the guns are fictitious, (e.g. HELIX's and CRAZYLEGS's pistol and SHOOTER's sniper rifle.) Being that I'm hella anal, (in addition to seeing the opportunity to inject my head canon into the JOEverse at large,) 😅 I took it upon myself to name the made up firearms. Even though the names of the fictitious firearms are made up they're not just random names that I picked out of thin air. The names of the fictitious weapons are relevant to G.I. JOE and COBRA and they fit the characteristics of the character, (or the gun.) I'll leave up to you, (and others,) to figure out the rhyme and reason behind why I gave certain guns certain names. When you do you'll probably think to yourself, "Why didn't Hasbro do that?" 😅 The fictitious firearms for COBRA come from M.A.R.S. While the JOEs are supplied by Van Mark Industries. Van Mark Industries harkens back to the _"Million Dollar Medic"_ episode of the Sunbow series. LIFELINE saves Owen Van Mark and his daughter Bree from a COBRA attack. Later it's revealed that Owen Van Mark is a defense contractor. As I was naming the JOE team's weapons it dawned on me that Van Mark Industries would be suppling the JOE team their armaments the same way M.A.R.S. supplies COBRA Command. I'm surprised that Van Mark Industries wasn't further ingrained into the JOE mythos because Owen and Bree Van Mark would have made great rivals to DESTRO and M.A.R.S.

This figure is fairly simplistic overall but I was surprised at how fun he is. He works great in pics with magic fx, etc. Super cool 👍🏻

Nice one! I think I liked him a bit more than you did, but there are still things to be desired with it. I agree on the reuse, and if they're going to go that route, why NOT give him the Uzi? Their choices are maddening sometimes.

Love your reviews Adam. I know there are a lot of issues with this figure, but it still rates as one of my top 10 from 2024 just due to the color scheme and aesthetics. I'm ok with the weapons re-use, but wish they would make them better. Far too many are difficult to hold or get into a real life looking pose. Keep up your great reviews and awesome photos. I'm not sure I understand Hasbro's fixation on removeable accessories that DON'T NEED to BE removeable. IG helmets, Viper goggles, Dreadnoks/Wild Bill's removeable glasses. They're a pain the ass and not doing us any favors, and wouldn't it actually be cheaper just to mold them on, where appropriate? gluh. Anyway, I do really like this fig. 👍🏻

Great list mate! Most of yours are on mine, or are runners up on it. We got some great figures this year.

I can see them making an accessory pack for this guy perhaps... but it would perhaps be things they might put on a further repaint of the wolf mould. But if they did their own I think a Shotgun is ideal and some grenades that hook in his loop or even some dynamite might be nice (he can light it with his lite cigar like object). The Axe that comes with the white one isn't to bad either - maybe keep the loop it fit in and change it for a throwing "Tactical style" tomahawk. I will likely buy another white one for the Naked look and maybe a couple of the naked dark ones too (as they are the cheapest version). I think there might be another deco out before to long as the Tiger just got a fancy redo announced. I think this co-operation should work out well for both companies as they likely will capture some sales from both ends. I will agree he needs heating or steaming before even attempting to change anything the plastic is the wrong kind to try to force his head off. The hands are easy to swap though they are loose enough for that.
