One thing I miss about the related 175s is that wine sound and exhaust rumble these Coradias always make when the engines are idling, the 180s also sound very similar at lower rpms to the 175s as well.

I remember these First Capital, London T Reg Plaxton Presidents and the later 51 Reg Plaxton Presidents plus the Dennis Trident ALX 400s on the 25 and N25 back in 01, 2001 and 2002.

Feels so weird seeing a PVL output this much power, most of the London’s ones didn’t have kickdown at all. The only PVLs that would’ve performed like this were the Y-TGHs on the 171 and a couple of the PVL390-419 batch ordered for the 36
