Hi Josh! Could you try the Turtle Wax Slick N Slide soap to see how it foams?
@realleescoggins19 сағат бұрын
Good video Josh but it actually convinced me to buy the Rupes. The Milwaukee (I have all their tools) is heavy and loud by comparison. The Rules also seemed much smoother to me when I tried both. I think I will get used to the trigger and I don't mind paying extra for quality. As for the speed, I think this has to do with the microprocessor managing the battery life.

Makita battery’s are all but indestructible for their intended use. They are the essentially the Toyota of tools in every way, including being a little behind on tech.

Josh, nice video. Thanks. I gather this Ryobi is really new. Not a single retailer in my area has it available with the battery and charger. I can't even find it on-line.
@darkangel07621 сағат бұрын
You made me break my rule, man. I've been a strict DeWalt cordless tool guy for years, but that Ryobi is exactly what I've been wanting to dry the grill and other tight spots on the Mustang. Picked one up today.

I use a drying aid and towel, for small cracks I use an air compressor. After watching this, I may opt out of the drying aid and see how that works.

Nice videos. Which brand/product name would you use to add extra protection from the get-go as a preventative method that will last atleast a few months of protection? Hybrid ceramic wax will prevent damage from bird poops?
@Airpaycheck23 сағат бұрын
Just bought one! Still can't figure out what the large adapter is for. You can put the vac end of the hose in it, but that doesn't do any good.

Love your videos brother... quick question how long do you take on a full wash and polish. How much would you charge?

Hey Josh! I'm not a pro auto deailer, just a lady who likes to keep her ride shiny, clean, and pristine. That said, would you mind briefly explaining the differences between sealants, protectants, and detailer products? Also, please differentiate between polishes and waxes. I find them all confusing. Thank you!!

200 hours of use? So it’s done after ~200 hours, and gets tossed on the trash?

I watched your original vids & they are why I became a subcribed viewer. I want to know what happens if you repeat & re-coat areas previously done in cerakote products... can they be re-restored or are they now locked??? Please can you try?
@IamDetailedAFКүн бұрын
I went from using blower to now a combination of blower and towel. I also dont use drying aid as it kills my towels. If i apply topper it is with a separate towel. If you use drying aid on towels, leave towels in bucket with microfiber cleaner of choice overnight, then wash after.
@becandjim6080Күн бұрын
FYI: on the hose reel that is not a lock to stop the reel from spinning, it is supposed to be set to create a slight amount of drag so that when you are pulling the hose out it does not all come out. So the reel will stop unwinding when you stop pulling.

I tested the clogging of a drying towel by using Gyeon Ceramic Detailer while drying and sure enough, after 2-3 times of doing that, the towel just pushes water around and really struggles. Even after washing directly after using the Ceramic Detailer. Not doing that again!

I am a home gamer detailer, who enjoys maintaining my vehicles as a hobby. Personally I'm not too impressed with the Uberflex, it is definitely an upgrade from what comes with a pressure washer. However it does coil up tightly and still involves a fair amount of wrangling to keep in line during use. Like most things in life you usually get what you pay for.

Hey Josh! I’m a new Detailer starting my business and I’m having so much trouble getting sand out of carpets. I’ve tried drill brushes and the tornador but it seems to be never ending. Am I just not spending enough time on it or am I doing something wrong? I just ordered the tornador velocity vac in hopes it helps.
@timkinley1779Күн бұрын
Sand is difficult to suck out. I just shake the crap out of them then vacuum.

Hey! You forgot to mention the option of punching it up to 80mph then start your tools & towels. Or at least punching it right before the final towel!

Correct, filtered air on a leaf blower means nothing because as soon as the "filtered" air leaves the tip it then becomes one with the surrounding air and becomes unfiltered...
@CcortanaaКүн бұрын
Should the towels be prewashed before using them? Or just use straight out of the package?
@timkinley1779Күн бұрын
Just inspect them. There is no need to wash beforehand.
