It’s called a dike and required by contract to retain the sand and reduce turbidity in the water and tested to not exceed 29ntu to avoid violating the environmental permit. The end of the pipe is a spreader and the pump as stated is not by the pipe it’s at the dredge who is working at the borrow area.

Hi Dave Thanks for showing these vids. Saw in one of your replies when someone was guessing much farther south that this area was Naples Park. That area has seen a tremendous increase in recent years with real estate value. That use to be the ‘affordable’ area in Naples.

So so sad to see it like this. My husband proposed to me on the beach there when it was the Holiday Inn, about 35 years ago. We stayed there many times over the years and loved the hotel's lovely simplicity, the fun tiki bar, and especially that beautiful, expansive beach. We loved taking our vacations down there (we live in Michigan), and were just devastated when Ian took away our happy place. 😢

I'm really not sure what can be done with a piece of property like this. A condo building makes the most sense, but it is going to be expensive to build and condo prices are already crashing. Elevated housing? Perhaps, but what about the zoning issue? Good luck!

Same thing all the way to the end of the island. That's why all those unexpected seawalls showed up after Milton. Are any of those old Santini pier pilings still visible? Ken

Next year storm season will be catastrophic because now in Pinellas County there is 30% more people in town. Don't know where there living don't know where there working I do know most are Mexicans but there here and its nuts. Hospitals are full ER's are full roads are maxed out traffic is horrible just ridiculous. Then throw in massive storms and massive evacuation and homeless storm refugee's and then the post storm no food issues...sweet jesus what a mess this county has become. Paradise is long gone my friends.

Have you thought about a spinoff channel for your reselling store? Like have 1 guy film random stuff in the store everyday. Heck you can bs for 10 mins about a 1970 industrial fridge. Could spin that into a tiktok/instagram 20 second clips and highlight eBay stuff.
