Great video, clear explanations. Thanks! You should consider getting the WCS clutch cover and do a video installing that. There's so much more room in it, that all the crap tends to fly right through rather then building up in all the little pockets that are on the factory cover. Plus is looks awesome.

An awful lot of time wasted repeating yourself and could have shown this in half the time. Made it painful to watch ( for an Englishman)z. Repeated too much and then forgot to say how you secured the cable to the back of the binding.
@claudiusalbat40485 күн бұрын
I have already found old Intec handles in my collection but then decided to choose a much simpler solution: I knotted the middle of a flat nylon shoelace to the lever with a prusik knot, pulled the outer sheet of a 30cm cable over the two ends and attached the other end of the cable to the highback with the shoelace ends so that there is a nice loop you can grab. BTW. Burton already provided the solution. You can use the included safety leach and make a prusik knot on the binding lever and clip the other end to the highback to have a small loop to grab.

Hard to see the actual lean of the tree, but you cut through your hinge on one side. Consider a Masdaam rope puller, it lets you crank the entire rope distance compared to the come along. Another back saving tip is if two single wedges don't send it, go to double wedges quickly. Overall a fine job because you hit the slot you were aiming

I’m sorry. But I used to live in Utah, and everybody complained of the lack of water. That’s what you get when you live in a desert . Hurricane hurricanes continued to bombard, Florida . I’m sick and tired of sending my tax money there for them to rebuild. If you live in a place that has natural disasters stop asking for help ! I’m not sending water to a desert. move😂
@oldmanadventuringАй бұрын
I understand where you are coming from. With the mountains of NC specifically, those areas are not considered areas that are prone to disasters unlike "Tornado Alley", Florida, Earthquakes in California etc. As far as not sending tax dollars, I think its safe to say we want to help, but we just want our dollars NOT wasted or siphoned off to other agencies or foreign entities. That's a whole other topic for discussion.

Yeah, I spoke to a few locals over that past few months and I think what a lot of people don't realize is the amount of chemicals that are now in the soil from "everything". Oil, gas, anti-freeze, brake fluid, transmission fluid, battery acid just from vehicles. Heating oil from houses that use that, sewer waste, all the chemicals that factories and other businesses use. All of that is in the soil and I am sure washed in to Lake Lure.

I can't speak to what's going on behind the scenes from a government/bureaucracy standpoint however from a "boots on the ground" standpoint Chimney Rock specifically is being rebuilt.
