An even “easier” way is to break the egg or eggs into the pan, put in a tablespoon of water in with the eggs, put a lid on the pan, (glass works best,) and when the yolk is clouded over, the eggs are done. No flipping and risking breakage. Flipping was where I ALWAYS had trouble. Try it! You’ll like it! 😉

No Crocs in the dish room! I can't imagine. I know they are waterproof but if you wear socks they will get wet and defeats the purpose... and if you don't wear socks then your foot slides around inside and you can sprain your ankle. Plus I don't think they are safe against dropped items that are heavy or hot or sharp....and I don't think they are slip resistant.

Afterall I find this a long process as compared doing the dishes at home. The sanitizing bath? The half dryer? Of course you are speaking here of quantities and fast pace. With me it would be spraying rincing and drying, that's all. Maybe they would put me in jail....

I've done it all line cook prep and dishwasher which was the first position I had when I got into the restaurant biz and for me it wasn't difficult the dish machine I must say but the three compartment sink is what got me but once I got me a routine with it I got easier but I love shout out to all dishes much respect 💯

My sprayer for the “customer dishes” is absolute ass. I have to rely on a bucket to soak shit before it even remotely works as advertised. Still. It’s fun work.

I initially thought that this place was literally the place I work at based on the layout, but upon further inspection, I don't think it is. The layout is similar, but not exactly the same.

As a dishwasher, absolutely I just don’t just wash dishes, I’m assigned to do the coleslaw, and receive deliveries in the morning, inventory, & put it in the proper places, at times I need to do the hash brown bake ingredients, needs to be properly weighed, cut more than a hundred buns, clean the areas. They told me that I’m really very lucky because, I got the easiest job, but to me, no, since I need to do a lot of things like what I’ve mentioned above. And on weekdays, there’s no one to give me a hand, except on closing time.

soapy water is wrong way. you only need clean water. There is no way for worker to rinse down all soap from dishes to avoid to get any soap in the tank of the dishwasher. If the dishes or cutlery is not washed well, check the operating machine and buy a better detergent. Our customers work only with cold water. And one more thing. For soaking never use warm water but cold or very hot to avoid formation of starch deposits on any dishes.

He forgot to show you guys the silverware gets put organized and put into a silverware rack and back on the flat rack and ran through the machine one more time, and also forgot to mention to keep your area clean because if not food or grease can get into the dishwasher and cause the dishes to come out dirty especially the plates and cups. Meaning you have to open the dishwasher and take half of the parts out and spray them out including the inside of the dishwasher and then having to refill it with water.
