I remember a dude showed me a scar in his head and told me he ran away from home when he was a kid after his mother tried to beat him and he didn't go back to visit his mom until he was a grown man and she immediately proceeded to chase him and break a bottle in his head.

I did it a few years ago. It was refreshing and less stress. Realised I was a lot happier without. It is hard because we are made to think that its something we need but if you go without for a while it will be a good re-set for the soul.

It is not a problem for me to survive without my phone even for a year but then it becomes a problem for my work and all the hangers on'ers that need to call me to ask for a lift, money, food, talk BS so yes, I could give up my phone as I was born in the 70's where not everyone had even a regular house phones!¬!
