If you haven’t listened to Peter Paul and Merry version of this song, strongly recommended. Not taking anything away from Joni

I am French, I have lost my cousin in the Paris Attacks in 2015. I have lost 2 other close people young adult in awful circumstances. What I have learnt from thos we have loved, cherished and miss so much is that there is something stronger than death, it is the presence of the absent in the memory of the living. Sorry, thinking, saying it makes me cry but reminds me this how our beloved ones are eternal, each days, always. They live through, memories, laughs and tears.

Holy shit, the abysmal deep of the groove with this band she has is inconceivable they should've imploded from the depths, but they didn't. They laid it down like a slab.

Guitarist here. Joni had mild polio as a child and it affected her hand strength. To compensate she either adopted, modified, or invented open tunings that allowed her to play her compositions.
