Go ahead, ban DJI drones and make the US farmers suffer. I sometimes wonder how those people in government are so self defeating ... or they do NOT care about their citizens but themselves? Practically all their policies to hurt other countries have boomeranged! Yet they talk big, they continue with their idiotic policies.

Mavic was far more stable. That type of gas lighting as we literally watch the mavic out performing the anafi was crazy.
@SteelCityDrones2 күн бұрын
The only thing gas lighting anything is your reply. It's a shame you can't give credit where credit is due. The ANAFI has made huge improvements and we won't back anything that we are not impressed with. What would the reason to do so be? Sorry but you got this completely wrong.
@AmericanMadeAdventures2 күн бұрын
@@SteelCityDrones we can literally watch with our own eyes and see the ANAFI drifting all over while the Mavic was smoothly drifting much less. Maybe our perception is just different? Maybe you have some sort of bias against DJI? I don't know why someone would say something isn't moving more than it is, esecially when we can see with our own eyes as you say it, but you did. I don't really care why. There is no shame in telling the truth though.
@1116media2 күн бұрын
@@AmericanMadeAdventures Not sure what video you are watching but its obviously not this video. Perception is reality but its clear that the Parrot is holding its own very very good. If you think its moving please get your eyes checked.

@@AmericanMadeAdventures It sounds like you have a bias for DJI not the other way around. Both drones were very good, you obviously haven't tried the Teledyne SIRAS.
@JasonBly2312 күн бұрын
@@AmericanMadeAdventures Steel City Drone evaluation is dead on. The ANAFI holds it own very well compared to the Mavic 3. Not not exactly as good but its very close and their test was very fair and unbiased. Time for glasses Americanmadeadventures

My first reaction is,,, it’s Chinese so I don’t care,, BUT the rational part of me can CLEARLY see the hypocrisy,, a government that allows, enables, finances, promotes all things Chinese, to the point of throwing the middle finger at their own citizens, SUDDENLY is going to draw a line in the sand as a response to a U.S. Government presentation of political theater ??? NOT BUYING IT!! Its the covid plot applied to a new target. This government is so corrupt and evil, ANYTHING they do is for a treasonous plot. They can’t even secure the border or perform their core job function and COMPLETELY unconcerned with the mass influx of Chinese national across the border and imbedded in the legal university system but is worried about drones made in China? I’m calling a 15 yard penalty for the excessive use of B.S. on the play. This is only example 666 of the treacherous US Government not being able to control criminals so they control the law abiding citizens.

Not that there's any proof of a connection, but I find it interesting that an Intel Tech Company in Shenzhen, China has recently been setting world records with the greatest number of drones operated in an aerial image - over 10,000 drones operated in a dazzling light show using only 1 laptop. Their last world record, which beat their previous world records, was October 17, 2024. Interesting also how almost exactly 1 month after that world record was set that suddenly there is a drone invasion in the U.S. in which so far 1 person from China has already been detained on the West Coast for suspicious activity of operating at least 1 or possibly more drones over a U.S. military base. I feel the masses of drones are being deployed by people from China somehow and that they will at some point carry nuclear payloads and probably at a time when people in the U.S. are beginning to think nothing harmful will come from them after seeing them buzz over the skies of America daily. Do your homework - the Chinese are all about drones these days and have even recently developed solar powered drones to greatly extend flight times.

This ain't no win, a delay at best. You are missing a big part of the puzzle, Brendan Carr has been nominated to chair the FCC, he's been pushing to put DJI on the Covered List for some time now
@SteelCityDrones13 күн бұрын
We could not disagree with more. It is a huge win because if we were not proactive with it the ban would have went through. A lot of people worked very hard. You are also missing the big picture in that the DJI has sued the DOJ with Obama's former AG taking the case. They don't take cases that they have not vetted or win. That all ties in with DJI security and what is a national threat. We are aware of Carr's past, however he has no power to add DJI to the list, it has to come from Congress.
@LoneStarUAV13 күн бұрын
@SteelCityDrones Carr may not have the authority to place DJI on the Covered List, but he can instruct his department to delay new authorizations pending outcome of the investigation.

The way I read the NDA a security agency is to make a determination within a year or less and then if they declare a security risk a ban happens in 30 days. If they fail to act in a year, the default is a ban. Doesn't sound good to me
@mike9832113 күн бұрын
Yeah, sounds like a perfect opportunity for a government agency to sit on its hands and essentially ban all drones after one year.

With Google Earth worldwide access to even my vehicles parked on my driveway it is Ludacris to imply drones are a security threat especially with all the prohibited, restricted airspace and other access to drones are denied by the FAA !
@MrRaymond102114 күн бұрын
I still think it's great news. Even if it's for 12 months. I think it's a win, until they finally ban DJI. Which like you said, it's very unlikely. I think DJI should make a warehouse in the USA. Maybe that would put the USA at ease a little. I'm sure glad that WE as DJI pilots can fly without a problem, or worry about that ban. Thanks for sharing as always. 👍👍👍

Now we need to follow-up and make sure that a reputable agency actually does the assessment. Seems pretty lame that the default answer is a DJI ban and the only way that doesn't happen is if they actually complete the assessment. They can literally do nothing and get what they want a year from now.
