@@jungletension2835 media is extremely biased and you won't find the best answers on google. For example, the Cybertruck was used for a terrorist attack and the entire media is painting the Cybertruck as if it exploded. No one is seeing how that cybertruck contained the explosion. I had many friends who wanted to buy an economy SUV as payments were lower but if you finance, cost of owning a Tesla SUV is sometimes less than an average economy SUV like a RAV4 if you do the math. RAV4 monthly costs, Car payments = $550 Gas to drive around = $200-300 Total = $750-850 Tesla monthly costs, Car payments = $700 Electricity to drive = $20-30 Total = $720-730 Even though Tesla car payments are higher, it’ll cost you less to drive a Tesla every month because of how cheap electricity is compared to gas.
@teslapeg26 күн бұрын
To those of you saying you’d never buy a Tesla because it’s costly, I just want you to know that I switched to a Tesla to save money. Similarly, if I had a gas car, gas would have costed me around: Gas = $25,000 - 30,000 Oil changes = $2500-3000 Brake pads = $4000-8000 In total =$31,500-41,000 Charging has been free for me which is why it costed me nothing to drive around but even if I did pay for electricity to drive 180k kms, it would have costed me $2000-2300 in the last 5 years. Nothing compared to how much gas would have costed. The number one reason I switched to Teslas was to save money

I don’t know if I’ll feel better having a 55 year old car that will kill me if I every get into an accident, break down every couple of kms, leave me stranded in -40C, not drive me when I’m too tired to drive… and much more. Sure have them as classics in your garage but driving them as an everyday car is extremely foolish

@teslapeg 9 months of the year I only drive pre 1980 vehicles. No issues. They're very simple and easy to keep up. I keep the modern junk for winter as I don't care if they rust away, they're very much disposable. That said, tesla has some pretty cool tech

Battery will only last for two years after 72 months of instalment. What is the cost of replacing battery?
@teslapeg27 күн бұрын
Where did you read that? Older Tesla batteries are still running for 12+ years with some driven over 300k kms already. My personal Tesla bought in 2020 has already driven 150k kms and still has a battery health of 92%
@teslapeg27 күн бұрын
Cost of replacing a battery is the same as cost of replacing an engine on a gas vehicle. But both need to be changed in 10-15 years minimum. Tesla already has a good track record

This is my 1st Winnipeg winter with my RWD Model Y and I wasn’t a fan of the driving experience on icey roads 10 days ago as I could feel the rear end breaking free slightly on regen and acceleration even with winter tires on. I watched some KZbin videos and the #1 recommendation was to put the car in chill mode. I tried it out and it works like a charm no more rearend breaking free sensation - back to enjoying the car.

I went to Tesla Canada website to play with ordering. It didn’t indicate this model y is 2025 model. My understanding is 2025 model y is redesigned and is named Juniper. The car in your video make no difference than the 2024 model. Unless Tesla makes 2 different model y in 2025…. It is hard to believe your vehicle is a 2025 model
@teslapeg28 күн бұрын
Yes, you are partially right! Tesla will keep making 2025 models for the Model Y until the facelift 2025 Juniper version comes along in a month or so. There are very subtle differences with the 2024 model but they are almost 90% similar. One key difference would be the stronger control arm and updated suspension on the 2025 Model year that is on my video. You also have to keep in mind that the Juniper has a strong chance of having no referral credit and Tesla discount as we have learned from last year when the new Model 3 highland was introduced. So you have to decide whether the 3-5k in discounts is worth losing the updated interior and exterior
@TheDrAnthrax25 күн бұрын
Tesla is still producing the 2025 which is exactly like the 2024. As long as the VIN number has an S in the 10th spot , it is a 2025.

Like ABS, traction control can give the driver a false sense of control. Physics will always win if the car is pushed beyond the conditions. If it's a 60 km zone that's for dry pavement. Always reduce speed in wet/icy conditions.

Hi there, it‘s FSD V12 I guess, and even that is working quite impressive, not perfect yet but way better as I asumed it would do on snowcoverd roads. It also showed, that some lens spraying device is absolutely nescessary. Thanks for that video in these difficult conditions. Maybe you get a chance to shoot one while it is snowing. Slowly all sceptics have to give Tesla credits for these achievements. By, Karl
@teslapegАй бұрын
Lens spraying is something Tesla will definitely bring in future models as they have already brought it to the cybertruck. I’ve got footage of it on my cybertruck video, it’s so cool! I appreciate you watching the video Karl and I’ll try by best to shoot a similar FSD video again when it snows. As for the version of the software, I’m not quite sure and will make sure to add that from my next video

@pictsidhe6471Ай бұрын
So you don't like it. No need to lie about it. BTW, I get well over 100 miles range when it is actively snowing. It can be charged to 100% every day. It was one of the cheapest in the Mini range, so pricing is good for what it is, a small BMW. When I was shopping for an EV two years ago, I chose an SE over a couple of other options. I think that I made a great choice. Everyone who has driven it, most at warp 9, loves it. Some of them seriously considered buying one.

@glennalexon1530Ай бұрын
No, Tesla is not known for "long-term reliability" or being "built to last". JD Power, which surveys reliability and dependability, rates them near the bottom compared to other brands.
@glennalexon1530Ай бұрын
No, there is no reason to think that Tesla makes a profit on Cybertrucks. Given the large-scale cancellation of pre-orders, they will almost certainly lose money on this model.
@glennalexon1530Ай бұрын
No, the Cybertruck does not have an advantage in braking on snow. It's braking is considered OK, but takes longer than a Ford Lightning, for example.
@glennalexon1530Ай бұрын
No, the acceleration is not "better than any other car or truck on the road". It's pretty quick, but not in the top ten of vehicles.

There aren't many street-legal pickups out there that can do 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. That's supercar territory.
