The Mini EV is way more fun to drive in the corners, its cheaper where I live, and its 1400 LBS lighter. The range isnt great but thats to keep it light. I picked up a 2024 lightly used for $33000 CAD. Its way more fun and more unique, easier to service too where I live in NB. I absolutely LOVE it.

I own a 2023 Mini Cooper electric and you can charge up to 100% daily, and much of what you said is pure BS, and don’t compare the Mini to the Tesla M3. Anyway, here inLA I paid $37.5K for the top spec model and I am not sure what that is equivalent to in Canadian $.

It has lithium ion batteries. Yes, you can charge up to 100% but it’s very bad for the battery. 37.5k USD is around 53-55k in Canadian. I understand buyer’s remorse, but its still a pretty bad value for the car and I wouldn’t defend it even if I owned it 💀😂

@@teslapeg I don’t have buyers remorse my friend, you buy what you like and can afford! Plus I am keeping my Mini for decades and modify her like I have done to all my ICE cars, which I still own.

Look European cities where there is no fckn space. At all. Size matters a lot ! What if you live alone and u need a car only for city driving. Mini is a better choice.

Look how bad the Tesla looks in comparison. I don't care about straight line speed but I do care about a car with character. I bought the SE and love it. I only need to charge once per week so it works out well for me. Tesla looks so boring 😴

So you don't like it. No need to lie about it. BTW, I get well over 100 miles range when it is actively snowing. It can be charged to 100% every day. It was one of the cheapest in the Mini range, so pricing is good for what it is, a small BMW. When I was shopping for an EV two years ago, I chose an SE over a couple of other options. I think that I made a great choice. Everyone who has driven it, most at warp 9, loves it. Some of them seriously considered buying one.

The people that buys the two cars are totally different. You're comparing a fun, sporty car that is full of character to a family sport sedan. People buys mini as weekend toy car, people buy tesla as their only car.
