You can’t use f series rotors, hats/bells are too deep and hit the ball joints in e46. Do you have any suggestions what rotors can be used ?

This wheels is one of the best and lightest. I also have on my E82. And I’m in progress to modify breaks I will put suspension and breaks from E9x M3. And don’t know am l 100% need new 18” wheels ?

i own 2014 bmw 335xi m performance package and my front discs are 370/30 and the rear is 345/24. So not only M cars come with 370 front and 345 rear discs. I think m performance package from 2013-2015 335 is the only exception. possibly m performance package f chassis 340i from 16 and up as well. great insightful video none the less.

@@korylewis7858 370/380 front Calipers are used on m cars in conjunction with m 380mm discs and on non-m cars with 370mm discs. Rears use 34m on non-m and 370mm on m. Calipers are the same however.

I follow the channel, have an E90 325i N52, which is great but would like to upgrade one day to an E90 M3 saloon. What are you getting in terms of MPG using it as a daily driver? Is it worth it? I’m guessing it’s great. Love these E90 M3s. Future classics for sure. I’m saving up for mine. Are you going to overhaul the suspension or have BMW kept it in good condition with their FBMWSH. @@Himoutdoors Hi mate, I’m only using it frequently now because it’s new to me, I think running one as a daily isn’t something I’d consider. I have a 5 series diesel estate which is the main daily. I think I will store the m3 from November until at least March. I’m planing to do suspension next, but not quite sure when that will be, hopefully sooner regather than later 🙂

@@vysgarage fair enough mate. I just love the idea of buying a proper performance car and putting the miles on it. Jealous of the previous owner who drove that car for 190k miles. Luck guy! I’m into bikes, and again love having a super bike as a daily ride, commuting to work on GSXR-1000 back in the day (before kids) was a highlight beginning and end to the day. Yes, expensive to run, but we all need our kicks and reasons to get up in the morning. I use my 325i infrequently, less than 5k miles a year so petrol makes sense, otherwise I’d have a 330d. I’m planning to do the front M3 arms on the car so I’ll keep an eye out for your videos in case you beat me to it!

Hello, I have put on 370mm in the front bolt on. Now i need to put the back on (345mm). When I ask around, people say that I need the bushings/inserts for the calipers but also ”rear rotor spacer kit (5mm) + spigot rings. I can see that you dont use those?

US E61. I was able to source G12 calipers (348) and as we didn't get 348x36mm rotors as affordable options in the States, I went with 348x30mm. Biggest issue is the hat-side pad is too tall and it's as it needs trimmed like the medium and large calipers pads would. Any ideas?

Your after going out of your way to make this over complicated, literally just after doing this conversation, using a e46 330i disc you can bolt this caliper straight up to the trailing arm by drilling out the holes from 10mm to 12mm, no need to hack off the outer edge of the backing plate
