heres the thing, im kinda advanced ingame, im champ 2 at the moment, just came back to the game, ive away for 2 years, back then i was into freestyle so im a very mechanical player, but theres this thing that i dont see nobody talking about, that i always see the pros doing and i admire so much, and it gives such an incredible advantage in comp im talking about using your flick to set up the ball off the wall into the air dribble, the pros do that all the time, i barely can make that, and when i hit it, i dont know exatly how i managed to do so i try so hard to find a tutorial about it but i cant find anywhere, could you do an tutorial on that? I’ve been playing this game since it first dropped on PS4 and I’ve never been able to figure this out, it got to a point I just used normal air roll and only went into the air to make saves since I couldn’t figure out how to control my car in the air for long. This is by far the best explanation I’ve seen on this in years might be saving a lot more and actually scoring in the air now thanks to this. Hi. When practicing in free play, going goal to goal, if I go headlights up and backwards I don't have your camera view as you (1:41 in the video). You see the bottom of your car the whole way, where I see the top of my car until about mid-field and then the camera swings around the car so now I see the bottom of the car and can line up the goal, like what you see. Does that make sense? We both have ball cam off.

I've been hovering around low Champ the last few seasons, and I always had trouble controlling the ball on a first touch when it lifts away from the wall. I can't wait to get this pack and practice. Thank you for the video, I've always said that practicing the fundamentals is way more effective than the flashy stuff. There are people lower rank than me who are WAY more mechanically skilled than I am, but I'll often win just because they lack the game sense I've built up.

8:02 you seem to be using direcitonal air roll while moving your joystick but i dont know how you did that but you just were using it in a natural way but didnt tell us to. could you please tell us how you did that and did kind of a tornado spin? because you werent doing that earlier with stationary ball placements in the air simple aerials.

On Factorio: I have 2k hours in that game, and I love both games. I think you're right in a way tbh. Factorio is a lot more impersonal. You are secondary, the factory is all that matters. Its no coincidence that experienced players will often in the lategame not even move their character for hours, doing everything from map view. The factory has outgrown its need for your constant presence. Satisfactory feels much more centered around you.

I tried installing the BakkesMod plugin but every time I do, despite getting a command prompt saying "Plugin installed!" or "Plugin will install on next launch" I have not been able to find this plugin in the Plugins tab. All I'm doing is going to the plugin page and pressing install like I do with any other plugin. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

damm how is this champ my plat games are so much faster than this holy cow, great gameplay though buddy enjoyable maybe next time ill be able to make it when your live.

Its great to see someone talking about the less flashy side of gameplay. The stuff that actually makes or breaks you from one play to the next. I have embodied the "make it work with as little boost as possible" mentality, whether on offense or defense. 12 boost to defend with? I call that a surplus. 😂 But in all seriousness. I see people going boost over ball in moments where they very easily could have worked even with zero boost. They end up giving up the ball, out of position, and then im left to defend against two attackers. Now thank goodness I have really pushed for improving my defense, but still, its little stuff like that that can really bring down a game. I have done many wall passes, taking the ball up the wall and passing it to my teammates on less than 12 boost. People dont realize how much you can do with just that second jump, especially if you set yourself up right. Tap the ball off the wall, jump, pre-flip towards the ball and get a touch from the momentum that flip gave you and you have just done a no boost aerial. Even on defense, if you are able to read your opponents well, you will hardly need boost to defend.

It is actually a LIKELLY masterpiece as they communicated with the players so much!

I’m pretty sure everything said in the video shouldn’t be practiced in particular because it is just something you learn by playing. Also if you wanna learn how to do stuff just go free play. There is almost no reason to go in training packs because they just don’t provide a realistic situation most of the time. Also what I found out when I got better(currently gc3 in 2s) is that a lot of training packs encourage you to go for a shot in a situation where you just shouldn’t shoot the ball in a game.

Parents: “what do these stupid games teach you!” Me: “how to land 4 wheels into the ball by letting the ball hit the center mass”

Does anyone know if the polling rate of your controller affects speedflips? I'm finding it way more difficult to do them on a standard 250hz controller compared to my 1000hz controller, but everyone else appears to be doing using 250hz controllers?
