Hello Lisa, not everyone is dreaming about modeling career. Some of the people have ended up working there by an accident (like it was never their plan, some just wanted the certain career and that’s it). But in general it all depends on the person and their self esteem. Same with models. Do you think they feel confident and beautiful? Sadly most of them don’t and this is the sad reality. And those who could be a top model sometimes aren’t interested in this career at all, Those “bookers / scouts / photographers etc” you’ve mentioned that may feel ugly surrounded by models, sometimes make the models feel ugly and miserable themselves (which is totally unprofessional and comes from being privileged and on a higher career position). If this comment is focused on me. I don’t feel ugly surrounded by models. But OMG I’ve opened this video and I don’t really like how I looked when I was filming it back then haha The only person I compare myself to is myself. This is also the advice I give to my model coaching clients, so they would feel better about their looks. Fashion models are some of the most vulnerable people. Once you’ll get to this business, you’ll know… This is just a choice people make - like with any other career. And I would never recommend someone who feels this way (aka feeling ugly and miserable around other people / comparing themselves to someone etc) working in the business. This would be a total disaster for their mental health. Hope I’ve answered your question :)

​@@TatianaKurnosova Thank you so much for the thoughtful response!! I have heard of models feeling self-conscious, self-doubt and having/developing low self-esteem. Which is strange because they definitely project a lot of confidence (or high self esteem??) - at least on camera. 'sometimes make the models feel ugly and miserable themselves' - I can imagine them being mean or even degrading to models but at the same time, it's kind of hard to deny the fact that models are the ones in front of the camera because of their 'objective' beauty/fitting the criteria. They wouldn't have been accepted if they weren't 'If this comment is focused on me' - not at all! But thank you for providing your personal mindset around it. Not too long ago, I deep-dived into facial aesthetics and then for several months I struggled to tolerate seeing average or ugly faces - and i would feel actual fear and disgust. Luckily that's calmed down a little.. but it's still difficult 'knowing' that i'm unattractive - and having scientific proof haha. So i assume that those that support the industry must feel more or less the same. 'This is just a choice people make - like with any other career' - yes I see.. perhaps once you're shooting and editing model photos day in, day out, it all becomes 'work' and you get desensitised.. 'Fashion models are some of the most vulnerable people.' - definitely an interesting comment... makes me recall the time when I was younger and agreed to a free photoshoot at a photographer's apartment studio and was pressured into doing nude shots at the end -_- So yeah I can definitely see your point in them being vulnerable. Hello Olya, nice to meet you 🤍 I will be honest with you - being a successful model with such height is nearly impossible regardless of your location (Korea, other Asian countries etc). The other thing - working in entertainment industry in general (more focused on acting for example), it would be more realistic. When you go through Korean agencies, you may see many different people, but you never know their whole story. For example, many of petite models either have a side hustle (another jobs), Korean husband (so they can work in whatever field they like and don’t need modeling to be their main sourse of income), only doing it as a hobby and etc. If talking about modeling as professional career (let’s say in Asia), then you have to be at least 168 cm tall. And even this height would also be an exception, because typically you need to be at least 172cm tall… Everything else (below these number) is extremely rare and the model should be exceptionally talented and unique. I hope this doesn’t sound harsh, but I really want you to be careful if someone will approach you and will start offering a dream-like career opportunities in Korea. This most likely will be a scam (if not smth dangerous), please be aware of that. One more question is: Are you interested in Modeling or life in Korea? What would be your main goal? Depending on this answer, it is possible to work on it and set up realistic goals. Hello, good agencies provide regular castings and job opportunities. But whether you will be booked for these jobs or not depends on you (your visual appearance, skills, experience and etc). It’s always a 🚩 in both cases (visa fee / modeling schools), however it is up to you to decide whether to agree working with such agencies or not. Asking money for visa issuance is illegal and if the immigration somehow will find out that you have got your visa like this, it may be cancelled + you can face some serious consequences. I personally wouldn’t risk it, but many people do… And as I’ve mentioned in this video - the immigration is more strict now about the whole process and many agencies are under investigation. All these things doesn’t mean that it’s impossible to get an E-6 visa and find a reliable agency for your representation. You will have no problems if you meet the requirements of Korean market (I’ve explained what types of looks Korean agencies are most interested in here kzbin.info/www/bejne/raqyc6OjjtxpfpYsi=U9d2m6T8C5nIIdEW ) and will have all required documents / experience which I’ve mentioned in this video. I used to try some k-pop diet (you can even see them on my channel here), but mostly for fun and as an experiment… All of them aren’t sustainable and don’t provide enough nutrients for our bodies + can mess with our brain due to restrictions and lead to an ED 🥺💔 Intuitive eating is the best + just listening to your body 🫶🏻

По магазинам я ходила по дороге. И, посколььку меня интересовали только конкретные бренды, к ним я и пошла. Теоретически, думаю, если пойти по всем, то можно и все 8 часов так гулять, ахаха. Better than the one in Seoul I would say… But you know it’s more “international” as that airport is a huge travel hub while Korean duty-free shops are more focused on Asian market. Or at least I have such feeling :) Btw if you’ll share your preferences with the consultant, they may show you something that isn’t exhibited in the shop - they usually store extra designs + have more colour options 🤍 I’ve been to Milan duty- free so long ago, so probably now it would be a different experience lol But it was good too! Hello Nana, first of all, thanks for watching my videos, I’m glad you find them helpful 🤍✨ - I’ve answered to the question regarding experience in this exact video - watch starting from 15:17 The short answer - you do need an experience these days in order to get an E-6 visa. Other than that, if you don’t need a visa, you can just start with the bare minimum of materials and gain the experience eventually in your own phase without a rush. - 184 cm is very high even for European and US markets to be honest. This doesn’t mean that you don’t have chances at all and shouldn’t try, but the height will limit the amount of works you can be booked for. Everything also depends on your overall visual appearance. Please keep in mind that I don’t know how you look and I am answering just in general. There’s always a way to make it work, but it both depends on your hard work, understanding of the market and the luck. If you’re serious about it, you are welcome to my coaching sessions and I will help you highlighting your strong sides and planning career strategy to make it work.
