I have JW3 and JW4 with Dolby Vision. Now with my preorder for John Wick placed, I wonder if you've heard any rumbles about JW2? It's gonna be the odd man out in my collection. Also, I have at least a quarter of the titles in this video preordered. Surprised you didn't mention Longlegs on the 10/08... a lot of recent horror flicks are going to bluray without a 4k release, like Late Night With The Devil or Cuckoo, so it's cool to have Longlegs coming to 4k.

PLEASE EXPLAIN!!!!!?????? I seriously do not understand it. There is no other industry in the world that doesn't take advantage to make as much money as possible from their customers. If they KNOW their items will sell out very quickly, and then become many many many many times more valuable in the aftermarket in just a short time, why wouldn't they make more discs and simply RAKE RAKE RAKE in the money? It's not even taking advantage of customers, but rather giving them what they want. It would be a win win all around as we would gladly pay more to have the movies we love. I have several extremely deeply pocketed investor friends that would love to get involved.

James, Idk if you would answer this here and I'm not on X (yet). But, can you explain why Second Sight's 4k's don't seem to really "pop"? I have a great setup ( LG C2 OLED and Panasonic 820) and almost all my 4k's pop more than theirs.

I look forward to a lot of these, but it upsets me a lot that these companies are making only a few copies of movies. Damn I can't buy everything ‼️🤬🤬 How the hell do they expect everyone to afford all these movies.🤬🤬 FOMO is high because of limited amounts of movies 🤬🤬‼️

Kinda surprised you didn’t mention the UK LOTR Steelbook reprint… or maybe you did. I know you did at one time, but it’s been awhile, so I think this might be a reREprint… due in like March or April. Idk, just found it on my own, haven’t heard anyone talking about it… so maybe I’m coming to the wrong conclusion.

By the way, I got Friday Night Lights with your link, not because I’m super into it (haven’t seen it, not a spots guy), but because I wanted something my buddy who likes it could be interested in when he eventually sees my steelbooks displayed, and maybe take some interest in blu-rays in general. (He’s one of them that calls every home movie format “DVD.”)

Sleepy Hollow, A Nightmare On Elm Street, Cowboys & Aliens, Signs, Deadpool & Wolverine, Dr Seuss’ The Grinch, We Were Soldiers, Gladiator, Terminator, The Hunter, Rush, Alien Romulus, Galaxy Quest, Riddick, and No Country For Old Men. I find it incredible that there is no one in these studios that has a brain: produce a special edition steelbook, not a limited edition steelbook - you will make a lot of money from it! Currently in the UK, both Deadpool steelbook versions of and Godzilla -1 have already sold out within 24 hours of going on sale, let alone British comedies such as Shaun Of The Dead. Surely somebody with a brain can allocate larger stocks? If you're selling them in such a small batch quantities, the only people making money are the touts that are selling them on 😭 Can you confirm if the Wallace and Gromit boxset is in HDR - rumor has it - that they are. not?

@@InSearchofPhysicalMedia I’ve ordered Wolverine, John Wick and Romulus! Looking forward to all of them of course, the John Wick set looks Stellar. Little anxious about actually receiving Wolverine though as although releasing on 22nd there is no delivery date (yet) stated for me, whereas the other two orders have one locked in. All done with sale links of course 🎉. I also ordered the steelbook protectors as my collection is expanding 😂

I REALLY Hope Netflix releases a 4K Blu-ray for CYBERPUNK Edge runners, I ordered the collector's set of Arcan. Over herein the UK jinx Steelbook has only the Blu-Rays in it Is it only the 1st John Wick movie in that set,? Nice video, thanks for sharing

That's awesome they're releasing more Clint Eastwood movies. I'm still waiting for them to release Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino onto 4K. Also Bridges of Madison County and A Perfect World would be great on 4K. All great movies of his.

Thanks for the heads up on that John Wick 4K set! I double-checked my individual 4K copies that I already own, and it seems that the 3rd and 4th movies already have Dolby Vision. Only the 1st and 2nd installments don't have them. I am wondering if it's worth even double-dipping on these if I already have half of the movies in 4K Dolby Vision. What does everyone think? Any thoughts?
