Richie doesn’t even move throughout. He was smooth. My friends and I drove to Elkins, WV to see Buffalo Springfield. Best ever. Played in a high school gym.

Stills was good. I must admit that. I just regret that some of us are democrats.

All members of the original Springfield here. Stills, Young, Furay, Palmer, Martin. The best and most magical version.

It's great to see these guys coming up with ideas and then putting them into their play of the song. It's Neil's song so he's drivin' the boat on this one, but he allows Stephen to offer suggestions on how to improve his contributions. They come up with a pretty killer lead riff to build the melody off of. This video is nothing short of 'killer' in my estimation.

Fantastic performance, great music played by great guitarrists. All three, unforgettable. I love Neil and Stephen music. Ritchie Furay too, great player

Pure GOLD! This tune became "El Dorado" ultimately--on NY's "Freedom" album in 1989. But this version is much better, IMHO. NY said pretty much the same thing in an interview. He said, "I should have made that a rock n roll tune rather than a hyper-produced acoustic one." Gotta love this!

I saw them (these original guys) back in '66 and then in '67. No other band sounds like them. This vid is worth its weight in gold. RIP Bruce & Dewey.

I've been marvelling at the "Buffalo Springfield Sound" since '67 when I was 17 with Marantz tube amps and Klipschorns when only a couple other crazies would listen to me and at 74 neighbors are still trying to get the cops to tell me to "Turn it down"! Dr. Creo

They were about ready to make a go of it. BUT, with the Narcissist's impeccable, absolute, and inescapable timing, Crosby literally showed up at the front door and Stills' programming kicked in. Stills simply followed Crosby out the door.
