Sitting here and watching this while they're testing the CO monitors in all our rooms. I have headphones on and can't hear the noise, but I can see the light flashing. So now I feel like I'm in the 60s listening to the music with a stobe light going. Needless to say, I'm really enjoying this flashback. Thanks for putting up the video!

There was no Neil to be found on that night- he was probably hanging out near his home up in the north country. However, this was the first time that Stephen had played Springfield songs in quite some time, the first time that he'd played w/ old Springfield bandmates Bruce Palmer and Dewey Martin in 20 years and I suspect that this performance influenced Stills and he influenced the decisions of Neil and Richie to meet up at Stephen's pad, rehearse together and see how the chips for a Springfield reunion might fall.

Thx Adam. The clip that I posted of the founding members rehearsal only covered the last 1/3 of Neil's song and I'm working on an angle to post the entire song to show the creative progression from beginning to end in condensed form.. I've also got the Stills' blues tune that they were jamming on w/ Neil at the keyboard and more of Stephen w/ the Revisited playing some other Springfield Tunes, ie Mr Soul. I'm not being coy about what I put out, I just need the time to formulate it and get it right.

I didn't pull it off the net at the time. LOL I hope it's in the public domain. LOL I might recut it w/ the footage at Pandora's box. I cut this 30 ya overnight and had a reel of 60's demonstration footage at hand that worked for me at the time. The locations that the footage was shot - Kent State, Chicago, Detroit and DC
