Is there any way that this works with SuperRack Performer? I can't find any resources on VSC through an x32 with SR Performer and would love to understand how to get this to work. Any help would be appreciated!

Did you ever have any luck with this? Trying to do the same thing. When I install Jack, "JackPilot" never even becomes an available application on my Mac. It seemingly installed nothing. I have a "QJackCtl" but that looks very different.

@@KenDeavers I actually figured out a solution on my own and it requires a software called OMNIBUS by Audiomovers. I just posted a video on my channel going through the setup! You can comment on that video if you have any questions!

Been using Logic Pro for over a year with great results, but currently transitioning to Pro Tools. I use Trigger on the Kick and Toms, but found it wasn't a good fit on Snare for our main drummer, as he does a lot of rim shots. Even with the mix knob, I couldn't get it to sound natural. So I did the hard work and did it the old fashioned way, which did involve using a different Snare drum.

I hope somebody sees this question. Our church just bought 4 DP48's and the hub 4. We are using the Midas M32 console. Our praise team is slowly getting used to these but not totally using them yet. I'm new to this church's sound system and learning these fun new toys. Question, how do you get that home screen to change like is shown in the video? I realize this shows a firmware update but this video is 3 years old. Wouldn't the units we just bought be updated with the latest firmware? I'll look at them today and see what firmware we have. But..... is there a way one can choose what the home screen displays? Once again, I'm new to these things and I'm watching videos as fast as I can. Please excuse the a new persons's crazy question.

I keep my master out pretty simple. Usually an SSL Bus Comp (mix glue) into a mastering limiter (Waves L2, Massey L2007 is also great)

2 years later, this review and walk-through is still very helpful, and also enjoyable to watch (and listen to) - thanks! Since it was released, there has been a firmware update to add parametric channel EQ and lots more. But what I wonder is whether they changed the compression so the user can set any parameters besides just the percentage?

If this mixer had the function of listening to the channel (AFL\PFL), then you can use it as a DJ mixer for small events...

Interesting solution, but is there no central management? It looks like if you have 10 screens, then you need 10 firesticks but have to provision each on at each TV. The only thing you do centrally is create content?

Great video, could you do an update on the dp48? Is there an update on the EQ ing especially for the drums. I‘m used to EQ ing the bass drum and toms. It‘s really hard to find enough information on the DP48!

I currently use the Behringer p16 along with the Behringer x32. Unfortunately, I do not have any more room on my p16 system. I understand the Midas system offers additional space, but I only see 12 ports on the system. Help, Thanks

I think what you're seeing is the 12 buttons. These are groups and you can assign any of the 48 channels to any of the twelve groups and mix/pan those channels independently inside that group. For instance, let's say your drums have kick, snare, under snare, tom 1, tom 2, and overheads. All can be added to a single button and panned wherever you want at whatever volume you want. This is user-adjustable. Plus each DP48 has two mixes Mix A and Mix B, so you can have two musicians on one unit controlling two completely separate mixes of 48 channels. They are vastly more powerful than the P16's, but also vastly more complicated. I would recommend a blended system where DP48's are used with musicians that can handle and would benefit from it and P16's are used for less experienced musicians that can get a decent mix without overwhelming them.
