@fashionista khalista they didn’t burn it down he is a electrical powered cowboy and his voice is a speaker and they had electrical difficulties so it burned up and big Tex died and they brought him back to life

I'm pretty sad because why did someone burn it down after you guys did so much hard work on it and it's body structure I was crying when I watched the video of some one burning it down but I'm so glad you guys replaced it god bless you guys 😌😌😌😌

I wish they would run them more. The T.R.E. people don't like them because of maintenance issues. Thanks for watching.

Sadly, the RDCs will likely never run again on the TRE line. If they go over 50 - 55mph, they overheat, and because of that, they overheated too much, and now some RDCs went to Oregon and some others went to Vermont after having service on the DCTA line, but they kept 1 in the yard for history. Also, 565 - 568 were renumbered to 123 - 126. That’s why you don’t see those numbers anymore, they just changed over the years. But something good what is happening is TRE bought 2 F40PH locomotives, though they need to be delivered. It isn’t yet confirmed the F40’s will be in TRE’s paint scheme or stay as the LTEX or EMD paint scheme.

Why did you use a nylon head hammer? I would think that extended the amount of hits you needed to do this, a metal hammer head would be faster.

+ClassyGeek The copper is thin to start with and metal tools are more likely to thin or even penetrate while manipulating the material. Also wood, rubber or nylon has a better grip on impact which you can use to your advantage. Thanks for the observant question and thanks for watching. Later, Mike
