For the treads it'd be great to use a ninjaflex95A or filaflex82A, especially for the wet!
@richardbertacchi5016Күн бұрын
In my experience, stick with 95A for the tracks. We used 83A TPE for alternating links with 95A TPU for multicolor tracks and they were too stretchy to stay on......

My biggest gripe with Bambu brand overall is I can't get them to my country without spending nearly double price of the printer. Personally, I'd choose Bambu over other brands. Yet, Kobra 3 combo is totaling me $400 vs. Bambu A1 around $600 which is very steep of a price different.

Now, you have an option in anycubic slicer next with "purge into infill" or using "Orca Slicer" with "purge into object". Make less waste plastic

I print fdm minis with my Bambu a1, and i have found that custom settings can get better results than what was shown here without the hassle with the supports. Manually painting on your supports only where needed makes a drastic difference when it comes to support scars and easy removal.

I'm not going to get one any time soon, but do you think it's worth considering at all over my old Anycubic i3 Mega? It's broken and though it's an easy fix, that thing is just a nightmare to work with, and it's dirty and run down as heck. While I'll fix it and get it running again, do you think it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a new printer in the next year or two?

I'm new to this whole 3D printer stuff, have the ender 3 neo Max I tried looking it up on internet but I tried to find out how to purge like this. However I have had no luck so far. I use no waste but that is because I am very careful considering I don't know how to Purge lol

Cutting the flush to .6 and flushing to infill are great tips. (newb here). Testing now. Are these changes I will have to make every time I print any model, or will they stay as default settings?

Also forgive me… but what hobby or professions would make an adult want a 3D printer? I’m genuinely curious as I would love to see how this could turn into something he can be passionate about and grow with as a teen and then adult.

Small production tip. Find an external mic. I like the videos, but the audio is a little bit distracting to someone with ear issues. A cheap lapel mic or boom mic will help level the audio tracks. Keep up the good work.

Hi, thanls for the video. Strings on fdm models may appear if filament is not dry enough. I had this problem too. Strings disappeared since I placed filament to dry box.

I'm just getting ready to step into the world of 3D printing. I knew waste was an issue, but had no clue that you could dump to an object! Super cool information!

HELP! lol Love all these ideas.. but I noticed when you flushed into objects, your time of print was reduced along with flush and cost. I think I’m doing something wrong. My time increases drastically with cost. Purge does come down, but not by much. I’m wondering if it’s my model..

I've been trying to print minis on my A1 with .2mm nozzle. trying to tweak the supports. With the .4mm nozzle, the supports come right off. With the .2mm nozzle, they won't come off at all. When I get home from work, I'm going to try to increase the distance between the supports and the print and try to find a sweet spot. Is there anything else that I could try to fix these issues? Would under extruding help with the problem, as it may be over extruding a little causing it to stick to the supports more? My models look great when they are done printing (can barely tell they were done on fdm, it's just the dang supports ruining that part of the model (.2mm nozzle, .08 layer height)

top mount AMS works great IF you print rear support brackets. Bambu offers the STL's on their Handy app that cones out clean and keeps the A1 rock solid as Im sure Prusa does too.

use the new "anycubic slicer next" it was created by both parties anycubic and orca. Also the anycubic has the option to reduce how much you purge after the print starts on the keypad.
