Brilliant Backing track moving through all the Keys - makes for a brilliant improvisation exercise

Singer has wonderful voice but I prefer he can give more chances for Sax and trumpet player to solo.

How do you like the new GR bass amplification stuff?? They’re intriguing and SUPER small/lightweight but I don’t know if I could part with my beat to death Eden WT-800 which has been essential to my sound.. The closest I’ve found was the out of production Genz Benz shuttle series stuff or Gallien Kruger MB800 if it’s a funk/rock gig..

I saw a video of him playing with Lionel Richie and it looked so effortless than I thought he wasn't playing live. Then I watched more closely and he's just that good. 😂

Yeah man ! you play smart using that open G string at the begining followed by a D open too. these are crucial to get that legato MDK feel. love it.🎵🎶

HI Thomas ! I want to buy or get access to the BACK POCKET GROOVE but I do not see how to get there through the link you gave here. Sorry but it is not clear (at least to me). Need some help please....
@MarloweDK2 ай бұрын
Hi Michel The link goes directly to Apple appstore for download. But you need to have an Apple iphone or ipad for the link to work, do you have that?

The first video I watched of MarloweDK was 14 years ago (It was the playalong video for September by Earth, Wind & Fire). This was long before I even made a KZbin account. Still watching this channel all these years later. I have learned so much in all the years I've been watching, and this channel has been instrumental in my development as a player. Great channel and great content. Thank you for the years of knowledge and entertainment MarloweDK! 🙏🏻

Love that bass! Ever try a medium scale? I'm considering a new (or used) bass and considering a med scale. Would appreciate any thoughts

@@MarloweDKI have a Fender Jazz bass and it’s beautiful. Also have an American Performer Mustang (short scale) that I just can’t put down. The full scale jazz I think has a little bit of a “bigger” sound altho the Mustang has its own really sweet sound. Just wondering if the medium scale at 32” might just be the sweet spot.
