Oooh, that warms grandad’s cockles! It brings back memories of Jerome Rimson, who played for Roger Chapman on his first solo tour. His playing on “Can’t get in” has burrowed into my mind :) This is not the same line, but the same mood, and it made my day!

Nice! Funky glasses! Can you explain, what differences in sound are between your signature TT4 model and a regular Sandberg TT Model? Thanks

I have a couple of questions: you use G# as a sliding note from G, but then you bend from to F#>G, to me it sounds more "natural" if one of the two is used consistently (one or the other), it's just my feeling? Also, when you play E minor in the fill, can it be played E maj? So that it sounds more consistent with the sliding on G# aforementioned. (in my opinion). In this case, how does the E Maj fit the Dorian scale? Is that simply a borrowed chord from the E major scale? Thank you!

Simply put, its blues! Meaning that you can play both the minor and Major third over a E7, E7#9 chord. And to some extent over a Em7 chord ( should be the dorian mode). And some times you just “hint” the Major third ( in this instance G#)

MAN ! that fill at the end of the line is very challenging, NOT EASY to play AT ALL: fast descending 16th of F#m7-Em7 plus back and forth btwn the 2nd and b3, ouch !! it is very hard to play at normal speed. Must be a ghost or hammer somewhere in btwn to relieve but I can't figure it out.....AARRHH !!. Need some help, maybe you Thomas. Anyway I love your playing, got hooked for a long time now. Yes, its challenging with the stretching, but playing halfnote steps across two strings gives some new/other ideas and articulations. And just put in ghost and hammer ons!

thanks a lot for your answer Thomas but I still wonder where the hell you get the strenght and energy from to play it so fast with that easy looking way ? @@MarloweDK
