It might be dry because Jamie missed a step. The dough needs to be rolled into sausages, that goes around the mold. If you flatten the dough it will be crispy and dry, instead of caramelised on the outside and soft bread on the inside. Good video though! Great idea on the beer can 👍🏻

I have been looking for this video for about 4 years now! Back in 2015, I made challah from this video, and everyone said it's the best, and then I lost the video/recipe, and I've been searching for it ever since!!! I'm so happy I found it again 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I just remembered your kitchen, so I kept searching till I recognised the kitchen 😂

She never says what the oven temperature should be. Just says low and slow
@santanalzАй бұрын
She never says because she's a terrible cook. For a BUNCH of reasons. She stuck the cold meat against the walls of a stainless steel pan in the beginning and had to scrape it off live. This will ruin your fond because now you have burst crust in the pan after the sear because there's no oil on the sides. She didn't brown the garlic or the tomato paste, she just dumped it into the pan raw. When it came out of the pan it was very stiff which means either it was cold and she threw it in a pan to reheat for filming but didn't' even do that effectively OR she needed far more time in the braise if fresh because it just wasn't done yet. The dates were added in about 4 hours too early. They would be beyond mush at that point. This video is a mess of a recipe. TLDR don't listen to her. There is a reason she has like 400 videos and no views despite the actual decent production quality. SHE CANT COOK. I'm aware it's a 7 year old vid but it's on my feed for some moron reason so yeah. She has a rock on her finger, hope her hubby handles the kitchen.

I made this receipts and believe that 4 eggs in 1 cup of matza flour is too much. Dough was too liquid, I believe 2 eggs on 1 cup of matza, they rest was tasty

Made them in the cupcake holders, as suggested. The paper stuck to the teiglach so much that it was too difficult to peel off. Ended up putting all the cupcake holders in the oven at a low temperature to melt the honey again, then scraped out all the teiglach back into the pot, then poured it out onto a cookie sheet lined with glad wrap, spread it flat, and cut into squares. The cupcake presentation looks great but isnt practical for eating. Thr flat cookie sheet is practical but not as pretty and cutting through yeoglach is quite a mission.

Ok, so now I'm realizing that it's just the eggs oil and matzo meal?😅 the link that leads to adds/stores must be your matzo meal recommendations...sorry! But it may be nice to just add a small post about the healthiest matzo meal brands for those of us who are a little new to the party haha😂 ty jamie

Great video, but when I try to get the recipe for the homemade matzo balls so I don't have to buy the mix any more, it's takes me straight to ads to spend more money😢 anyway to link or post the recipe? Thanks!

Everyone in my house has a cold right meow, i made my mother's (RIP 1 year next week 😢) jewish penicillin yesterday. Everyone felt better within an hour of eating it! It truly works. But they didn't have matzoh mix at my local store. I went an got some today at a further away store. They are boiling as we speak. Some of this woman's tips i can vouch for as my mother taught me the same stuff, but I still learned something here. Thanx for the video! Shalom!

I knew this old Jewish woman that I helped out , celebrated holidays ect and we pretty much became family to the point she referred to us as her adopted grandkids .She used to make mozo balls and make us this spice tea that would kill anything that dared to get us sick. She said it was easy to digest but also had all the vitamins and minerals. The tea also gave a good kick in the butt
