Everyone in my house has a cold right meow, i made my mother's (RIP 1 year next week 😢) jewish penicillin yesterday. Everyone felt better within an hour of eating it! It truly works. But they didn't have matzoh mix at my local store. I went an got some today at a further away store. They are boiling as we speak. Some of this woman's tips i can vouch for as my mother taught me the same stuff, but I still learned something here. Thanx for the video! Shalom!

I knew this old Jewish woman that I helped out , celebrated holidays ect and we pretty much became family to the point she referred to us as her adopted grandkids .She used to make mozo balls and make us this spice tea that would kill anything that dared to get us sick. She said it was easy to digest but also had all the vitamins and minerals. The tea also gave a good kick in the butt

Watched all of the informative videos. Thank you. What did you do with all of the vegetables (red onions, carrots, celery) you put in the braising pot after cooking the brisket for 5 min on each side?

I make Cholent for Shabbat every Friday for Chabbad in Tokyo. I just realized the similarity to a French cassoulet. My recipe is similar with the notable exception that I don’t use honey. I’ll add it next week and report the result.

❤ I loved whenever one of my aunts made this for us. She would never share the recipe with anybody though 😢😢 As I got older I saw it in a few different bakeries and would buy it, but was always disappointed since it was so fake and terrible. I wish I could make it now, but I'm in a nursing home and have no access to a kitchen. Thank you for the memories though.

This is such a beautiful day for these people! I have been sobbing, and the tears are rolling down my cheeks. I am so happy, however, for those making Aliyah. I don't know if I could do it myself. I have a family in this other country. I have been so disappointed in what has been happening lately on the university campuses, especially, and our president is the worst ever. I am afraid that I wouldn't fit into Israel. I am Jewish in reality but probably don't look like it. I don't know if this new family of Israel would accept me. I love this video, and I may consider moving there, myself but of course I would have to visit first. It draws you there doesn't it? It is such an amazingly unique calling to a land that you personally have never been to.

i suppose the closest thing wee have too matzo balls in scottish cookery would be the dough balls wee add too things like mince n tatties or casseroles, but i've got a matzo ball mix packet so i'm gonna attempt chicken matzo ball soup, it will be my introdution too kosher cooking .
