These chambers are 100% Wrong. They are for the corporations, elites, and globalist monied interests. Trade friction via taxation levies are good at every geographical level. Why shouldn't a local goods have preference over a distant goods. But, get you money grubbing tyrannical hands off our persons. In other words NO Personal Income Tax!

Iain saying Howard Lutnick doesn't know what he's talking about 😂. Research Lutnick and Stephen Miran. Canada has been the awful ones. Just listen Trudeau and the Liberals comments the last 10 years. Plus Canada has violated both nafta & usmca from the beginning. I won't even go into the nato funding deficits. FAFO

Extrapolate this to for Canada. Canadians not paying taxes for companies to make money. Trump is wanting to remove the Illigal income tax. Medical would be completely changed to CURING AND MAKING BETTER. Removing wars thus making the military industrial complex RICH. These are a few.

That'd be brilliant removing the trade barriers. Be even more amazing to see provinces co-operate with the economic powerhouse of Alberta to help spread wealth, remove taxes that inspire growth and investment, rather than forcing equalization taxes on Alberta and BC to spread welfare to other provinces

The taxes that shrink growth are the ones on the consumer. Decrease taxes that allow people to consume more creates the demand business need to grow. More trickle down economics of giving business’s tax breaks so they can make more profits, doesn’t help grow the economy. Been there done that. Proven wrong.

Have you heard of the Montrey*(not Monterey) formation? Go look up where it's at. BC is a far bigger powerhouse than Alberta ever will be and we have much more to offer the US. Perhaps if we unloaded the hundreds of thousands of people who are here from other countries and other provinces and only want to freeload BC would be able to get back on financial track. Being saddled with half the seniors of Canada is a massive burden to this province. I also know that other provinces deliberately shipped their addicts, homeless here (no criticism to said individuals). If BC is truly serious about getting independent of the self-serving overlords east of us it's going to have to make difficult and unpopular decisions just like President Trump. The good news is 25% of BC (according to a poll by True North) would gladly become a US citizen and part of the US. This is the highest percentage in Canada even more than Alberta and it indicates a substantial level of dissatisfaction of the status quo. We have the opportunity of a lifetime here. We can chose our destiny and how we want be. Or we can stick around the confederation of Canada and know the outcome of every election before we vote while we slave to fund eastern Canada and babysit their family members. Choice is ours. 🤷

@@tinalaursen8993 alberta has just as many migrants if not more, including people like me from BC that flee extreme taxes and only come back for winters. But I agree with most of what you say. But a province that's laying off police, $billions in debt, and has a public sector workforce (jobs paid for by tax payers) that drawths the private sector. What makes up most of the Canadian economy? Selling 400 million barrels of oil a day to the USA. Then the USA sells it to the rest of the provinces. Why isn't every province refining their own oil from Alberta and extracting their own resources to complete and lower prices.
@paulvaughan3557Сағат бұрын
@ to all Canadians who think joining the US is some magic solution. Firstly is isn’t the USA, it’s the DSA. It is as divided going back to the civil war. The country is being ruled by the minority of the country. Mostly southern Christian nationalist. They would turn the US into a Christian theocracy tomorrow and are working really hard at it every day. How many states would Canada have to be. 5/6? No way Ontario, Alberta, BC, Quebec are just going to give up their sovereignty to join what in effect would be the federal government to represent all of Canada as one state. Stop the nonsense. Dtrump is a con man extortionist. He isn’t long for this earth, but he has given Canada the incentive to get its act together to cooperate together, search for other markets. It would take 10 years maybe more to come to some agreement on Canada becoming a state. It’s time for Canadians to demand our governments work together and need to vote accordingly.
@paradoxi264914 сағат бұрын
So, do I have this right? It's justified for Canadians to be p*ssed about guns coming over our border, but not ok for the US to be p*ssed about fentanyl and illegal migrants? Got it...

Iain shows himself to be a very shrewd commentator . . . who I have trouble respecting because his contemptable words in describing others tells me more about HIM than the people he is talking about. We ALL have a blind side, and a bit of humility and self control would allow the value of his insights to have more power and impact, in a constructive and exampling way. I really do value this show!

They had fake polls in the US showing that Harris was head to head with Trump. It was a lie and they did admit it after her defeat. They are doing the same thing with the Liberals. All the candidates are WEF puppets so it does not matter who wins. It will be the same agenda.

It's not an issue of public vs private. Getting costs down in infastructure spending is all a processes problem. There is a reason why government contracting works in East Asia and in Europe and doesn't in North America or in general in the English speaking work. There's a myriad of reasons why, for example overengineering or enormous risk contingencies, and most of these are known. The relevant institutions just have to be put into a position where they actually have to solve these issues and are able to as well. More business isn't gonna solve that. And it's not "too much red tape" that's the problem, it's HOW it works. Again, if they can do it at a lower price in Europe with stricter environmental and other laws than what exists in Canada and the US, then there's no reason why it can't be done in North America to. But to solve the issue you of course have to look at best practices, and not fall into the trap of an ideological state vs business argument.
