The single biggest problem is the fact that we don't educate doctors in our subsidized tax-free medical schools to practice here. We don't have any doctors it doesn't matter what system you have if you don't have doctors to do the job.

Health care is a concern for sure. How about anti profiteering laws to hold businesses to account like the service station(s) that jacked up gas prices for Jasper evacuees? That’s not fair and free market practices. It’s parasitical business practices. Shameful.

Canadian voters should start a new trend of holding politicians to truthfulness and totally refusing to accept LIES. They should be able to own up to mistakes and not cover-up wrongs. Self-enrichment and disloyalty to their voters...like working for the WEF instead of Canadians or other countries for self-enrichment is not okay. Electing those who want more wealth is obviously not okay. Vote for and only accept honesty from them.

Your math doesnt take account of the time it takes the crop to get to harvest. If you have a very fast crop that takes 4 weeks to grow, you`ll need 4 towers to provide a weekly harvest. If you have one tower, you can only harvest it once every 4 weeks. You will not get 30lbs of leafy greens a week from a 32 site tower garden. I have three 35 site genuine aeroponic towers which use mist that are considerably more efficient than the tower garden and they dont produce 30lbs a week. If you grow determinate tomato in your fruit towers, you`ll be harvesting fruit for 1-2 months and then have to start over. If you grow indeterminate tomato you`ll be able to harvest as each truss ripens but you can only have one plant per tower section due to the limited root space, 8 plants in a 32 site tower. You`ll need a trellis for support and a lot of space for the vines if you intend to keep them producing fruit indefinitely. If the tower is indoors under led, the growth rates of tomato will be a lot slower compared to being outdoors in the sun. Lettuce will do ok with 250 PPFD, toms will need 800 PPFD. growlightmeter.com/light-requirements-for-plants/

Be interesting to know what types of crimes and what values they are given toward these statistics? Certainly it’s the first time I’ve ever heard Kelowna and Crime Capital in the same sentence 😅. Are we the number one murder capital then? Or just the number one theft capital? I’d actually believe more it’s drug related crimes as we are central area for traffic.

The One Who made the sun, the moon, and the stars...land and water, light and darkness, morning and evening, winter and summer, springtime and harvest, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, and breathed His own breath into us, and then sent us out on an adventure to learn a little sumpin sumpin by building our own claptraps, mousetraps and combustibles... I stared very hard at the advertising on the plastic that holds the Canada Dry pop cans I bought the other day. I learned that the word "real" in english translates to the most peculiar word in french (supposedly the land where LOVE is): VRAI. Hm. VR (virtual reality) and AI (artificial intelligence). Am I a Sick Puppy for highlighting this? Probably. BitCoin. ChunkChange. I dunno. Jist not buying what yer sellin'. Rather bite into another of them thar apples. I find God to be profoundly practical, and SO much more. Me? I'm a putz. Putz means "to polish." Good luck with that. 😂😅❤😊

Private companies, aka the forest industry, has had a free-for-all in BC's public forests for decades. They overharvested and didn't think about the future. The Falldown Effect refers to the planned reduction in annual timber supply from logging lower volume second-growth as old growth is depleted by logging. It was postulated that intensive silviculture/planting tree farms would ameliorate falldown, but in reality, it did not. The Falldown Effect, a result of intentional overcutting, demonstrates the dismal error of this assumption. By the 1990s, government was estimating that future harvests would be 20% to 30% below the Allowable Annual Cuts of the time. The result of this falldown, since the 1990s, includes the economic fallout of mill closures and ‘decaying community life’. Private companies have had billions in subsidies from BC tax payers. It's time to put an end to the tenure system that allows private companies to have control of public resources and put control of public forests under control of a publicly accountable agency. Tree plantations are highly flammable and are contributing to BCs horrifying fire seasons over the past 10 years. Clearcuts are drying out the landscape and heating things up. Industry is no longer a 'massive driver of the BC economy' - it costs taxpayers now: $1.7 billion in revenues vs $1.727 billion in expenses. Linda Coady and friends have offloaded the cost of doing business onto the people of British Columbia for too long. It's time for them to go. Coady might also want to note that one of the reasons for so many fires in BC is because of all the clearcuts - dry conditions, too many flammable fines, increased drought, and disturbed hydrological cycles. Stop whining. You've made your bed.

The NDP always claims conservatives are cutting health care funding, when the truth is, the conservatives are just re-aligning resources. The NDP are always happy with the status quo, and always want more tax payer money, instead of fixing what has been broken for decades. Because of unions, and NDP being their useful idiots, they will never improve health care, they refuse to see the problems right before their eyes, and public service, either health or education, is untouchable as far as the NDP are concerned. Their dental care, and pharmacare will end up being the same, a disaster.

Lived here 25 years. Our neighborhood has always had clean water supplied from Okanagan Lake. Only after the city announced their $50 million treatment plant plans did we start to get water advisories. "Gosh Mildred. Isn't it good the city is going to spend all that money and raise our taxes to fix this. Praise the Lord and pass the chequebook." Our water has never been a problem. Now, after a $25 million cost overrun for the plant, we have been taken off the main lake water and now have water that is leaving brown stains down the side of the toilet bowl. 2:29
