Just a few thoughts here my two cents on the CAF Canada has collectivly underfunded and gutted our military for years by both federal parties , this neglect has boken the trust of security that the federal gov't has an obligation to provibe its citizens,. So how do we solve this first we need some form of a national guard nation wide trained and ready at the local level all across canada ,specifically on our eastern and pacifice coastlines unleash our industrial capacity to build our own military equipment we could start with small armed costal boats on 24 7 patrols ,.Next unleash our world class tech industry design and build our drone technology out and start work on missile deffence systems as has been proven in by a small little county with next to notthing industrial base to hold up world trade for quite awhile ,so what the hell could we do thats just a thought from a first nation elder history guy

As a Canadian living in Saskatchewan I have always known the Canadian military isn't truly needed to protect us. As a country boy I grew up understanding the US was always itching to take over Canada. Because of this constant threat I and others like me started asking each other what would we do? The solution we came up with was to hit the US hard by destroying the 37 Electrical Transmission Hubs and power lines leading up to them that export electricity into the US. This would cause 26 US states to go dark immediately. We'd also destroy the 11 Gas and Oil Pipelines. Without the natural gas to heat homes and businesses and to produce electricity the number of states affected becomes 36 states Only the Southern most states would have water treatment. Communications, technology centers, the military industrial complex would be hit hard. Wall Street would be offline. Canada doesn't need a military to protect ourselves from a non-existent threat, we just need farmers who know how to destroy a target that crosses their own lands.

As someone with ADHD I find it a bit insulting that I am considered a lower standard. Something like the military with a rigid structure, with problem solving and dopamine inducing challenges it would be a good experience.

One thing we need to be doing in this country is mandatory military service ages 18-21 for those not married, not employed or in trouble with the law. It will train people for the military, perhaps convince some to make it a career...and for the delinquency....instill responsible civics. You can't be "woke liberalized" in the army, nonsense is just not tolerated.
