Have been an avid follower since seeing "The Trout" rebroadcast on A&E when we moved to America in 1978 as a child. DuPre and Barenboim were my childhood heroes. Anticipating getting "We Want the Light". Each of your films has been a treasure to me.❤

Hearing others playing Chopin I again return to Ashkenazy.

This talented musician is famous all over Europe. This talent is not famous in the US because his catholic mother grew him up as Catholic when his father was Jewish. For that reason, JEWISH USA, the Jews in the US did not want him because Ashkenazy did not have Jewish character.

I've just swapped pianists. I was listening to Mr Brendels performance, and now I'm listening to Mr Ashkenazy... just to see how he plays the wickedly difficult 4th movement... and THAT monster fugue.

Very impressive. Imagine, to have to memorise this... then play it with not one wrong note. Daunting !

I love watching her but why would force her sister to allow her to sleep with her husband, in a way she was selfish and didn’t appreciate her own sister.

I've come here after listening to Kissin playing Schuberts Wanderer fantasy. They're both great compositions, and Kissin is a great pianist, I think. My favourite pieces for piano though are Chopins Ballade No.1, with Liszts Un Sospiro coming in a close second. Classical music will continue to be great, long after I've passed on to the other side !

The likes of Hitchcock and his genre of horror, suspense, surrealism, discord and visual dialectics must also pay homage to Arnold Schonberg, for it is in his twelve tone and a'tonal evolution accompaniment with film noir, the fear factor is rooted.
