Hi Andrew, I am about to make an Orb chair (well that's what I call it) and your video has given me a quick tutorial on what I need to do for the upholstery. Now, I got a little excited when I saw the Koala.... but your not in Australia and my excitement subsided rapidly. Back to the chair. It will be part of a circle and made from ribs, hard to explain but the end video will make sense of it all. My pickle is, I am going to attempt to upholster the inside of a circle with one arm.... So, I will share when all the pain and suffering is over. By the way, love the video and your video presence. Well done. Regards James One Handed Maker

Trashboard (causality loop (TCL?)) Recycled into chess pieces. It's made with Airbus carbon recycled. The Metaphor for skate or die using chess being like making a full set board game of chess sets using the losers Skateboard. Like, the chess is in the mind of not landing the trick. (Same concept applied towards assets and liabilities; because of making a Skateboard brand for everything and making a video game mod network for everything too).(when chess never ends and mental health is never finished. Like a new Alice in wonderland complex story because of making 52 playing cards with the recycled skate or die Skateboard; same idea with audio technology)...(like chess and Skateboards and finding missing persons when they changed their identity).(like a research project using MIT from Michigan about an alphabet (00-25, 26 is Arkansas) when people make an alphabet agreement and their make risk's about sponsorship rules).

This sounds like such a stupid idea... And yet, you pulled it off brilliantly! This is a beautiful, contemporary take on an icon. That said, I suspect it would be even more expensive than the original. The labor involved is absolutely incredible.

Very nice! That brought back memories of building my stitch-n-glue Pygmy Arctic Tern-17 fifteen yrs ago (minus a skateboard deck). I still paddle it to this day, along with a 16 foot folding Oru kayak. Unfortunately Pygmy boats shut down during covid and never came back. I'd look toward Chesapeake Light craft if I were building another one.

As a builder I was wincing throughout the process, as a guy who's made a few free range structures myself, I loved the "hey, I'm going to make something cool" spirit. In fact, I'm planning my own version of a sauna now. Cheers!

Ppl are making fun of this guy??!? Not that he needs to spare it, nor does he need the acknowledgement....but his 1 earthly-spent-year has more life, utility and vitality then all the troglodites perusing this comments section. So yeah...there...eat his shorts!!!

I want to know how to get my wood working projects to self assemble while moving like Gumby too. Technically I don’t think you’ve built an Eames chair so much as you did a restomod of an Eames chair. In any case you did this beautifully.

I just bought this lathe! I went from a Mastercraft. I'm turning a pen right now! I was having trouble figuring out how to adjust the speed. That's how I found your video. I figured it out and turning a resin pen blank I made.
