Great video dude. I’m curious how much extra marketing is required for those channels to maintain or grow their audience. I feel like I make less content now because I’m trying to up the production quality, damn is it ever hard to keep up

you're telling me! haha i don't think there's much extra marketing. there's definitely a fine balance between quality and quantity. also there's a balance between making content that's general enough for a broad audience and being niched down too.

Andrew, interesting stuff, mate! You should try and get to talk to Steve from Woodworking For Mere Mortals (now there's an OG for ya!). You must've heard him talk about KZbin and all the fads and crazes, analytics, views etc. You heard about how he tried those two alternating titles on videos to see which draws more views? And thumbnails - very interesting how they work. You ever do the KZbin screaming face?? O, and The Woodworking Talkshow: you should totally be on it as a guest!!

hahaha i'm waaaay too novice to be on that show, but i totally pulled in 2 clips from steve's podcast. i love it and he's an OG for sure. i think he was before my time even and only recently found his work. he's fantastic for sure!

@@AndrewSzeto Yes definitely! His Grrrrripper intros are hilarious. Most recently he's more into shorts and all other experiments on what works on KZbin. But novice or not: you have the skills, creativity, personality and drive, to become a big(ger) channel. You deserve more subs and more views!
