What I do, is just let go of the throttle let it go to idle, then grab it in the same position and go to the front brake. Rolling your wrist, I see no reason to do it unless I’m not going 0 throttle and still want some. Going to 0 theottle tho, I see no reason to not quickly let go of the grip or let the throttle slip under my hand until it’s at idle 👌

This was one if the first things i learned when i started riding. Couple times id brake and would blip throttle. Push foreward with throttle and pull with fingers.

I did this when I was 22 on my brand new 1993 cbr600...yes I'm 54 and ride a 2024 hayabusa now.
