It's an engineer experimental effect called Plasma Slug, there is no ammo capacity for rails with that effect, instead each shot consumes some fuel from your fuel tank. Basically infinite ammo

@@Silencer555 Personally, aside from "military" (i.e. combat) ships, I also throw them on all builds for the same reason. The combat ship exception is because I got DCS A-10 brains and expect combat ships to have zero creature comfort and squeezing every single bit of performance as possible.

It is in the game via mods! It's called the Tyler1 grabber scream or something like that. It's hilarious hearing it in the distance because of an unfortunate teammate

Ya I've improved a lot more since this video. I'm now entirely a shieldless ax pilot, and far more confident against Hydras/Medusas.

It's to help overheat my ship above 100%-250% to burn off the Caustic substance on my ship. Whenever you receive a Caustic damage effect, it will not stop damaging your ship until you remove it.

It wouldn't have been literal zero hull, just rounded down to zero hull. 0% means anything between .01% and .5%

@@krashd I will assume the game it is kot code to work around decimal numbers, because the Hull Gauge of my HUD said I had LITERAL zero hull. But the point was that, I was LITERALLY one mosquito sight away from being nuked, I still can't believe I survive that and manage to keep my bounty and make it back to the station, without killing myself by a stupid accident.

FDev had removed that material requirements for the Caustic Sink (Absorbs Caustic Damage), the Shutdown Pulse Neutralizer (Titan's EMP pushback wave) and the Guardian Nanite Torpedoes (Used in order to stop the Titan's heat vents from closing, thus exposing the Core to deal damage) a few days before the Titan was killed. All you need now is just credits to get the required modules above. Anyone with an unengineered ship can make it to a Titan and deal damage with the regular AX weapons. Guardian weapons + modules + SLFs will still be destroyed when you enter the Titan systems, so don't worry about needing to grind for Guardian weapons. The Guardian Nanite Torpedo is for sale for all players on all Rescue Mega ships(They have a cyan colored + icon in the galaxy map), as well as the above modules. Enjoy the other Titan detonations!

3 damage sources: -Thargoid Scouts hitting me (the flashing red blips on the radar) -Hit by Caustic Missiles, which slowly deal damage to your hull until you burn it off/repair yourself (Green health bar) -A giant Caustic Cloud from a dead Interceptor, which deals heavy damage if you're in its radius. In this case, it died within 3km of this base

I had 2 moments of such a thing on COD MW2. My friend got his AC-130 orbiting over me, i take my rpg and aim well ahead and above it. I shot it down on 2 different occasions with an unguided rocket.
